I have wanted to get back into reading but am extremely picky with books and love weird stories lol. I was actually directed here via another subreddit where I was asking for weird book recs. Recently I finished the bell jar audiobook and fell into a rut where I haven’t wanted to pick up books. I ordered big Swiss and am really excited to read it. I love comedic, spicy, ones with philosophical undertones that explore life. I also recently finished the movie the lamb and loved it, so if you have anything like that let me know!

Hello! I'm trying to get back into reading as I've fallen into a rut. I'm super picky with books, and find a lot of plots to be cliche. I'm used to reading nonfiction animal related books, but I want to read something fictional to distract myself. I like odd books and I'll leave some examples below. I tend to like strange books. Spicy books are okay if they are also a bit strange. I also like comedic books that are also weird lol.
