At the end of the stroke bottom chain has a little hop skip action?
Want one for the bird I just picked up, the current lineup at the moment
Refreshing the SOHC KA and this coolant line to the heater core is convoluted and has a lot of potential leak points are there any issues that may arise if I bypass all the connections going through the intake and just connect directly into the line? I would like to retain heating functionality!
Planning on pulling my stock SOHC KA soon to replace the timing chain with an OSK kit any suggestions on what to replace / inspect / tidy up on while the KA’s out? trying to make sure I’m not missing anything so I’d appreciate some input! here’s what I already have in mind:
Alternator Water Pump Thermostat Radiator Manifold Gaskets Intake & Exhaust Oil Pan Gasket Motor Mounts
Also thinking of adding a sandwich plate for an oil pressure gauge? Any thoughts?
2012 Acura TSX 2.4 SportWagon, ABS / VSA light came on out of nowhere while car was in accessory power mode for about 10-15 minutes. The engine was NOT running. battery was dead upon next attempt to start about 2-3 hours later and needed to be jumpstarted (the battery was dated 2020 and already had been showing signs of dying out) so i replaced the battery but after a week of drive cycles the light never went away so i started to look into it, i have already replaced all 4 abs wheel sensors. Some things i found online said it could be due to low brake fluid but the reservoir is topped off fine and the system has no leaks? Very confused as this came out of nowhere and would normally be a failure point I would expect to happen while driving?
Bit of an odd post but I’d love to see some of your roadside maintenance trunk kit solutions, mines a bit big though. Id love to find something similar to downsize and save space!
