Update: Getting the Color Variations Ready for the Brownstones

Side question: should this be a ploppable signature building or zoned?

In Progress: NYC-Style Brownstone

Based on a recent request, I said I would make a NYC Brownstone. I may make multiple/a full set of brownstones to have a cohesive neighborhood design. It is coming along a lot faster than I expected, which I think is promising.

Should a President Be Impeached For Selling Early Access of Social Media Posts to Stock Brokers?

Reports are that President Trump is offering paid early access to his Truth Social posts for $100,000 per month. This comes as he has also publicly promoted specific companies and their stocks. Setting aside any questions about securities law or market manipulation, should a sitting president be promoting specific companies or stocks?

If early access to those potentially market-moving posts is being sold to traders or brokerages, could that raise constitutional concerns about abuse of office or another standard for impeachment? Or would this be viewed as a private business activity separate from the presidency?

I'm interested in the constitutional and ethical arguments rather than whether any particular law was broken.

I am VERY worried about Wagler

He just doesn’t look like he belongs at all. Idk if it's a confidence thing or what, but everything looks so slow and timid. His defense looks atrocious and hes the only guy DP drives past with ease this game. His jumper doesn't look good, his handle ehh, and he plays like he is 5'10 instead of 6'5.

His release is going to have to be faster and higher. He's going to have to toughen up on defense, and he's going to have to be strong with the ball. It would be a shame if the first 4 picks are amazing, and he's the one that doesnt pan out.

Cam Boozer vs Caleb Wilson

What a match up! Some thought I have for this game:

Boozer is not as bad as some on this sub thought he would be defending the perimeter. He looked really good at times on D, and gave Caleb fits on that end. Most of Caleb's 35 was on others.

Caleb has such a high motor, he would have gotten a great stat line without the 3s

Boozer is the best passer in this rookie class. Its amazing how well he reads the game at his age.

Caleb is really raw on the perimeter, but he absolutely flashed what he could be. It looked more TMac-like than I ever thought AJ was

Darryn Peterson: 24 Points, 6/18 FG, 3 Rebs, 3 Assists, 8 TOs, 9 Fouls

It is just Summer League, but teams have objectives during it. To either work on something with a player or see how capable they are on certain tasks. It's tough to feel encouraged by his playmaking so far when he has 18 TOs in 3 games with 17 assists. It was my concern coming into the season. His scoring looks fantastic and I'm not too worried about the off game shooting, but the turnovers trying to playmake is extremely tough to see.

LOVE the way Peterson looks today

Excellent creation off the dribble for others, getting to his spots, jumpshot looks good as usual but has shot off the dribble is Chef's kiss, a lot of poise being shown, and he's showing some passion. Very impressive outing.

Asset Released: Chicago Six-Plex Apartment

Hi all!

As promised, I just released my first asset on the game. It is a Chicago 6-plex apartment building that is based in the Bronzeville/Hyde Park area. I really enjoyed making this asset and I hope you all like it! Let me know if there are any problems or issues you have with it.

I do take requests/recommendations if you want to see something in the game. I also have a PayPal link in the description. Obviously don't have to donate, but every little bit helps me to provide more content for the game (plus, all proceeds go to my newborn :))

DP Played OK

He was impressive scoring. What he lacked in driving, he made up with drawing fouls. Shot looked good.

He's just not a PG. 8 turnovers is bad, no matter how much we try to say they weren't his fault. His court vision just isnt there. I just don't know if he'll provide less ball handling pressure for Keyonte George like they wanted

Boozer is Looking REALLY Good

His passing, shooting, and footwork are looking extremely good right now. His body also looks fantastic and is moving really well around the court. Can't wait to see how DP looks next game.

In Progress: Chicago-Style Six-Plex

Since I figured out how to do assets, I'm hoping this will be the first one I get to publish. It's going faster than I thought, so I hope to get this out soon!

I Figured Out How to do Building Assets!

I finally figured out how to successfully import a building asset into the game! Since I feel like there's some gatekeeping here for some reason, when I have time I'm going to do a step by step post that I hope the mods will pin.

In the meantime, here are some tips!

  1. Model using whatever program you're comfortable in. Whether it's Blender, Rhino, 3Ds Max, etc. I, for example, used Revit and had a plug in that was able to carry assigned materials into Blender. Being able to put it into Blender is key (in my view)

  2. In Blender, join all surfaces with the same material. This makes texturing easier in Blender since CS2 Editor reads the model better if there's one 1 material in the model to read, even if the materials all use the same UV Map Atlas (i learned this the hard way)

  3. Before exporting your model into FBX form, make sure you join ALL the model meshes. My work flow is: Select all - Orgin to Geometry - Select the windows (joined per tip 2) - export windows to FBX (AssetName_Win.fbx) - Select All - Join - export building to FBX (AssetName.fbx)

  4. Make sure all meshes have the correct face orientation. To do this, in Blender go to your overlays and checkmark face orientation. Any surfaces in red will NOT show correctly. If you see that, click the mesh in question, go into edit mode and flip that face (I think you do ctrl + N and flip should be an option)

  5. Try to simply the meshes as much as possible. A ton of triangles will make your life harder, and it will make the building harder to read in CS2. If there is a rectangle with a ton of triangles, try to do Tri to Quads and see if it simplifies.

Hopefully this is helpful in the meantime before I do a larger step by step tutorial!
