Does anyone have a gastroenterologist in socal that they like? Really struggling to find one that doesn’t just say I have ibs and show me the door. Took me almost a year just to get one doctor to reluctantly schedule a gastro paresis test after telling me that only happens to people who have had gastric bypass surgery.
So this is a strange symptom but does anyone get the sensation like their body is made of water. Like later rushing down the backs of legs or puddles in your stomach? Or dripping down your forehead? It comes and goes but happens all the times lately for me.
Iv had chronic diarrhea since my pots/disautonomia started and it’s the one symptom I CANNOT get a handle on. It’s triggered by different foods and physical exertion. I think my bp drops when I get it too. Does anyone experience this? The different foods will also cause really bad pain my in low back, abdomen, the palms of my hands and jaw. It’s such a mystery!!
I have both pots and suspected Mcas (high histamine on a blood test) and I am wondering if anyone’s had success with a combination birth control that had both progesterone and estrogen. I know they say estrogen can be bad for Mcas but I used to do really really well with it before I got severe. Like the second I wasn’t taking it I would get a migraine and just feel really bad and off so I’m thinking about trying it again. I’m on Slynd continuously now that definitely Helps also.
