Innocent face?

Anyone else get a "Who? Little ol' innocent me?" face from their basset? This is Indiana's. It's hard to stay mad when she does her inquisitive cute face.

S30 Plus, S50Pro, and S80

Was poking around a bit and saw in the 1126b update there are more sensor files for a couple of future models:

  • S30Plus - imx586 and imx662 sensors

  • S50Pro - imx585 and imx586 sensors (these are identical to the S30Pro files, so they might be place holders. I would hope they jump up to the imx686 or some other larger sensor.)

While there aren't the sensor config json files for the S80, they do include a separate libasisdk.so file for it. In addition, there's also a Rockchip Camera Interface kernel module video driver for an S50N.

I'm interested to see when these come out. The S30 Plus has a lesser secondary image sensor, so presumably it's going to be a lower price point than the S30 Pro. Maybe they're going to discontinue the S30 like they have apparently done for the S50 model?

Parts and a diagram

Hi all. Several of you asked for a parts list and build instructions for the lightsaber I posted earlier.

I didn't take pics during the build because I was trying a lot of different combinations and ordering of parts.  All I have to go on is the final pic, so I've annotated a pic showing the order of what went on and where. You can just follow the numbers to match my ordering. I'd recommend tweaking the ordering until you get a side profile that you like the best.

Sorry, I can't provide any more pics because I already gave the lightsaber away to a friend. 

As far as parts list, I had a bunch of spare parts I ended up not using, so I'm only listing the parts I used in the final build:

* 1x 3/4" PEX x 3/4" Female Adapter (670750703027)

* 2x 1-1/4“ Sigma ProConnex EMT die cast zinc set screw connector 

* 1x 1" Sigma ProConnex IMC Zinc plated threaded coupling

* 1x 10" Carriage bolt Zinc 3/8" (BZA)

* 1x 3/4“ hex nut Zinc (BDK)

* 1x 3/8“ hex nut galvanized (ALF)

* 6x 5/16“ black flat washer (XBK)

* 12x 3/8“ black flat washer (XBJ)

* 1x 1/2“ black flat washer (XBH)

* 8x 1-1/2“ fender washer stainless steel (WCJ)

* 2x 2" fender washer stainless steel (UDJ)

* 23x 1-1/2“ fender washer stainless steel (UDG) 

Part numbers are in parenthesis where available.  Sorry, no part number for the coupling and connectors, but I got those in the conduit section at Lowe's.  You can pick whatever ones you like that look cool to you.

My hardware store build

Had to try making one of these. Had to get parts from Home Depot and Lowe's because evidently there's been a run on large flat and fender washers lately. 😂
