i20 Questions

Hey Guys,

I am in market to buy a decent hatchback, it would be my first car considering the E20 and subsequent ethanol blending situation i thought of sticking wkth either Bifuel or petrol engine because I do not have access to charging infrastructure (living in delhi on rent)

currently considering i20 (10.30 Lacs) and altroz bifuel (10.64 Lacs)

I have not accounted for any dealership discounts currently, my questions are the following:

What is the fuel economy for IVT gearbox in delhi traffic?
On highway what is the usual Mileage one can get?

Is there any problem in respect to braking or safety features?

What is the most VFM variant for this car?

Is i20 performance really that bad? I have heard from a lot of people that the braking and general performance is bad in i20

Axis Atlas renewal incoming- confused !!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to understand what should i do, brought axis to plan a trip to south east asia this year and was relying on the accor transfer which axis is no longer supporting.

My current requirements-

Approx 10 lounge access in a year (i travel by air 5-7 times in a year- flights are not booked by me)
No internationall travel
Vacations 1 major (domestic) and 3-4 small vacations (domestic) was planning international this year.

Post directing all my spends - 8500 miles i have collected in a year
i do not feel that the card is worth for paying 6k.

please let me know if i am mistaken and if not then help me with a alternative card predominately for lounges (preference would be to get them upfront instead of any limit based access)

TIA

Car Buyer’s Dilemma

Dropped by the showrooms today to check out the small car segment (Punch, Exter, Tiago, and i20). Walking in, I already had a soft spot for Hyundai, but seeing them side-by-side really puts things into perspective. Here’s my quick showroom floor reality check:

Tata Punch: Looks great on the outside, but the fit and finish? Honestly, a bit disappointing. That heavy side plastic cladding also made me think twice.

Hyundai Exter: The facelift looks decent, but it just lacked that "premium" vibe I was hoping for.

Tata Tiago: A total wildcard! For a segment smaller, it’s an amazing package loaded with features.

But then I sat in the Hyundai i20. I loved it. The only catch? It’s stretching my budget by about ₹1.5 Lakhs. I can manage the stretch, but it got me thinking—is it actually worth it?
