Anybody watch the EVM repeat of the July worship service?

It is so ironic that EVM kept preaching the entire lesson about DO NOT BE AFRAID because we have God and yet everyone and I mean EVERYONE had to wear a mask in the chapel. Choir members had to sing through their masks, his supporting casts of ministers and even all the attendees all the way up to the balcony had to wear masks. Even though the pandemic has been over for 5 years, whenever EVM preaches in person, everyone has to protect him and wear the damn masks. "oh no, it's for everyone's safety!" We all know that's BS because regular services no one is required. ONLY when he is around because unlike what he is preaching about, he is AFRAID. Why? Sir, are you afraid God will not heal you?

The members keep being reminded that the END is near - (3 Questions)

Almost every worship service, the members are reminded that THE END is near. Not just near. VERY VERY NEAR. I love hearing it in Tagalog. Malapit na. Napakalapit na! Talagang napakalapit na!! Sobrang lapit na talaga!!! OMG Super lapit naaahh! (sorry got carried away LOL)

Anyway, so my questions are, A) If it is really really really near, why is there still a need to give offerings? Remember what the offerings are for? "For the needs of the saints..." such as building the temple of the Lord.

So why is the church buying more and more properties? Last I heard they purchased a building to be a District office in Las Vegas. A 4,400 square foot building. Really? That's how the offerings are used for since the Day is veryyyyy near?

B) No offense to the people living in Vegas but does the church really want to proudly announce they bought a building in Las Vegas? For those who don't know, Las Vegas is also called SIN CITY. Why? It's not just a nickname, every kind of sin is found there. From gambling, drunkeness, wild parties, orgies, prostitution, drugs and organized crime. Woo-hoo! INC got a property there!! That's like Lot saying, hey guys! I just built new houses in Sodom & Gomorrah! Yeah!!

AND C) Please look at the other picture. What do you notice? They purchased a property using the offerings of the members. What do they say? THANK YOU, PO! WE LOVE YOU PO! BROTHER EDUARDO MANALO AND BROTHER ANGELO MANALO. Ok, ok, to be fair they bothered making a second sign that includes at the very bottom, all glory be unto God. Is that so? IF ALL glory be unto God then why does EVM and Chubs Jr get top billing and bigger signs?? IT AIN'T ALL BE UNTO GOD is it? God doesn't even get the Love sign. sigh

And they wonder why the INC is being called a CULT.

Leader or Commander - do you know the difference?

Here is a simple question for everyone. Do you know the difference between a Leader and a Commander? A leader LEADS by example. They are the ones in front leading the charge. A commander simply gives the orders. Which do you think is EVM?

Why not be in the rallies? Why not walk amongst the people? Why do we not see the fearless leader LEAD the throngs of INC faithful walking in the heat, dust and rain? Do you just stay home and bark out commands? Are you a leader?

The Leader of leaders

Has anyone noticed that whenever there are events like INC rallies against injustice or for transparency or water or whatever you want to call it, that the Leader of leaders is never there to lead? The Bible says: "but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." and Jesus even washed the feet of others then said : "For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you."

What example have you seen from the EVM? Aside from riding on his large plane or kicking out his own mother?

Honestly asking. He comes to other countries; he stays in 5 star hotels. Goes to preach in one service, shakes a few hands, smiles for the cameras and leaves. What else have you seen him do?

Asking ALL Iglesia Ni Cristo members: Have you seen him walk amongst the crowd in rallies? Has he ever handed out bags of goodies to the homeless during INC giving? Has he walked with members giving out invitations door to door?

Yeah yeah we know, he is busy right? Because he is THE "Executive Minister?" Ok, as a minister, when was the last time he had a debate with other religions? When was the last time he did a baptism? Never? Has he anointed oil to the sick brethren? Is he a Minister? He does not even preach mid week worship services! He teaches once a week!

I am not being rude; these are honest to goodness questions if we should follow the example of the Leader of Leaders. Where are the examples of leadership?

Where is the $$$ of Brethren really going?

As the INC mid year thanksgiving is almost here, and we are bombarded in church about how blessed we are to be INC and so we should thank God by bringing an offering. (Not much about respecting parents, gambling, drinking or adultery) - Just BRING THE OFFERING!

I had been thinking about this for a while. Has anyone noticed that there’s a big deal about being building chapels thru the offerings? The mins want to show that the offerings are going to building more houses of worship. Ok, but if you think about it, not many chapels are BUILT and dedicated in the West. They would occasionally Buy a used building and patch it up with paint and a chandelier, put a steeple and voila! Chapel.

In the Philippines they would proudly announce Another chapel being dedicated. Here’s my point: you know how much it costs to construct a chapel in the Philippines? I asked AI to calculate and this is the answer:

Constructing a 500-seat chapel in the Philippines will cost roughly ₱15,000,000 to ₱34,200,000 PHP ($243,000 to $554,000 USD) for standard to mid-range construction. (Keep in mind they would use their own people so it's even cheaper than that.)

$243,000 in the US? That is like only a month’s worth of offerings from Canadian, London, New York, or California Districts! I know. I was in the Finance before.

So where is the rest of the money Kapatid?

They would rather build flimsy, tiny Barangay chapels in the Philippines which would cost about US$1500 or equivalent to one worship service in one small American congregation. But the big ones? Rarely.

(I excluded chapels the African continent because there were about 3 constructed (not renovated) there but in places like Malawi. You know the exchange rate of US dollars to Malawi currency? 1,733.80 Malawian Kwacha to 1 US dollar. So ya they can afford to build there.

In the States and Europe? Has anyone seen a chapel built in Rome? London? Paris? Toronto? San Francisco? When was the last chapel fully constructed from the ground up? You can't even remember can you? Then EVM would brag about how “we are buying the chapels of other religions!” He means used old broken down ones from Catholics and Baptists. We cannot afford to build our own. WHY?

Where is the money Kapatid?

In other words the chapel dedications are all illusions that all that money is going to Building more houses of worship of us. Yeah? Why does Daly City still have no chapel? How much money have they poured in over the years? San Francisco still worshiping in that 100 year old library?

Get ready! It's almost Pasalamat (Thanksgiving) time!!

A few more days to go and it will be the Mid-year Thanksgiving in the Iglesia Ni Cristo. You know the ministers all over the world get nervous around this time because they have to make sure the local does not URONG. - they cannot let their congregation have less offerings than last year's Thanksgiving. So they will emphasize this in the worship services and they will probably visit the brethren at home to "remind" everyone how Blessed they are to be INC and must show we are thankful by INCREASING (sulong) in their Thanksgiving offering. Uhhhhmmm... does it matter that there is a war between America and Iran and that the whole world is affected in the global economy? NOPE. OFFER! OFFER! OFFER!!! Come on Kapatid! Drop those offerings in the bag!

(the EVM jet fuel is more expensive these days)
