I was walking my dog at HVK when a woman approached me with another dog, saying the dog was lost and distressed. She couldn’t grab him by the collar because he was stressed and roaming around. The dog then started following me and my dog, so we decided to bring him to the 79th Precinct. He’s there now.

He seemed to be a pit bull mix with patches on his collar — one had an American flag, and the other appeared to have his name, “Jax.”

I took pics and added them to this post.
