My [30M] Gf [33F] thinks I am going ton Cheat on her one day, idk if she’s projecting
My girlfriend and I just moved in together. We’ve been friends for about 2 years and dating for about 1. We moved in pretty fast because both of our leases were ending and we figured why not.
Yesterday I told her I was going to my best friend’s bachelor party and it seemed like she didn’t fully trust me. She said all men are simple and that there’s always a possibility something could happen one day. She said she’s not saying I would cheat on her, but she also doesn’t believe it’s impossible.
Then she said if I ever did cheat on her, she’d probably never know. That comment honestly threw me off. It almost felt like she was either saying I could get away with it or speaking from experience or something.
Now I’m sitting here wondering if she’s cheated before, because why even think like that? Would I be wrong for asking her that directly?
I tried bringing it up again last night after the kids went to bed and she got settled in, but she pretty much dismissed me.
I want to add she has odd views on cheating, she’s told me it’s forgivable & she told me she believes that if she cheated on me I’d forgive her. She also says she thinks at some Point in our relationship that i would cheat! By that logic, wouldn’t it sound like she’d do the same ?
