One thing I notice online is the massive difference in engagement between women and men posting selfies. In subs like r/Selfies, average-looking women often get hundreds or thousands of upvotes and compliments, while men posting similar photos frequently get ignored.

If attraction to men is supposedly common, why is there such a visible imbalance in enthusiasm and validation online? Is it because women are less visually expressive, because men outnumber women online, or because attraction dynamics are fundamentally asymmetrical?
