How long did it take before OMAD started felling natural?

Ok so basically I've only been doing the omad diet for almost a week and I just want to know, how long did it take you guys to get acclimated with the diet? like when did it stop becoming a diet and start becoming a lifestyle?

What's something society treats as a personal failure that is actually a systematic failure?

Ok so one example that comes to mind is burnout. A lot of people are told they're bad at managing their time, not resilient enough, or need to work harder even when they're constantly exhausted. But when people are expected to be available 24/7, juggle work, school, family responsibilities, rising costs, and endless notifications, AND STILL bring 100%, it seems strange that we treat burnout as an individual problem instead of asking whether the expectations themselves are unrealistic.

I'm not trying to say personal responsibility doesn't matter, but it feels like society often puts all the blame on individuals while simultaneously ignoring the environments that practically manufacture and cause stress in the first place.

What are some other things people get blamed for that are actually caused more by the systems they're) were. living in?

I would love to hear you guys examples and reasonings, thank you.💡😊

If hard work is the key to success, why do some of the hardest-working people stay poor?

So I've always heard people around me say that if you work hard enough, work long enough hours, you'll be successful. But when I look around, especially in the area that I live in, I see a lot of people working incredibly hard... I see lots of construction workers, caregivers, warehouse workers, people working multiple jobs and more, and many of them still struggle financially. But I also notice some people seem to make much more money while working fewer hours or sometimes not at all. How?

I'm not asking this to start an argument or anything I'm genuinely curious how people explain the relationship between hard work, opportunity, education, luck, connections, and success. I would also love to know what you guys think without having to bring race or ethnicity into it.

Is hard work really the main factor, or is it only one piece of a much bigger puzzle???

Can I smoke weed/cigarettes while fasting

Hey guys so I've been doing the OMAD thing for a few days. And I have a genuine question. Since I'm currently fasting I'm wondering how smoking affects it or if u can smoke at all during a fast. Specifically, does smoking weed or cigarettes technically break a fast, or does it depend on the type of fast (weight loss, autophagy, religious fasting, etc.)?

I'm also curious whether smoking has any effects on things like hunger, energy levels, blood sugar, or the benefits people are trying to get from fasting.

I personally in the last couple of days have not stopped smoking weed and cigarettes during my fast and I know a lot of people get the munchies when they smoke weed and I feel like for me it's a lot of mind over matter. So I might get the munchies but I just decided not to eat and break the fast and I feel like with cigarettes it just depends, if I smoke too much I get nauseous and dizzy but if I don't go overboard then it's fine. If anyone has personal experience or knows the science behind it, I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts and experiences. Thanks!

▲ 7 r/GED

I'm 17 and wanting to get my GED and genuinely have no clue where to start...

Ok so I'm 17 about to be 18 and I dropped out of school officially in the beginning of 9th grade though I have been in and out of school since 5th grade. I have been having to rely on non consistent self-education and a prayer for the last few years and recently i been considering getting my GED.

I have genuinely no idea how to go about this or who to specifically ask so I hope one of you guys can help me out... I have aspirations to become an OBGYN doctor someday and I don't know if this is possible with a GED or if I should just give up now. I always hear people say that when they got a GED that job opportunities always looked at them as a lost cause and I'm worried that I'm going to be no better than the stigma 😭

ANY AND ALL HELP/ ADVICE IS WANTED!

Here is a list of some of the questions that I have about the GED

.What are some of the first step?

.Do I need to buy any textbooks or study guides?

.Are there free resources that actually help?

.Are there classes or programs that help people prepare for the GED?

.How long did it take you to study before taking the tests?

.Any mistakes you made that I should try to avoid?

I'm 17 trying the OMAD diet... Opinions or tips???

Ok I'm 17 about to turn 18 and I have been trying to do the OMAD diet only for 2 days (June 1st) but im gonna try to go all the way through June. I have always hated my body and always had aspirations of being more healthy and lean looking. I'm am a female 5'3, 130lbs. My goal is to hopefully get down 115lbs or 110lbs... I'm worried this isn't going to work... but I would love to hear your stories and opinions and advice on OMAD!!!

I'm also very curious and have lots of questions I'm going to leave a list below if any of y'all can answer them it would be greatly appreciated 🤞🏽

. For the people that been doing omad what's one thing you learned that you wish you knew when you started?

. Did omad actually help you lose weight long-term or did you have to switch to something else eventually?

. Are there like pros and cons to this or specific rules that need to be followed?

. Did your hunger cravings get worse or better over time?

. Is exercise or omad better? why?
