I finally have my ged!
Thank heavens that I passed. Phew

Thank heavens that I passed. Phew
i’m a bit nervous for my math test and a bit disappointed i haven’t gotten any college ready scores but at least i’m getting it done!
I somehow did worse, i got a 136 this time when last time i had a 144...
Hi. I want to get my GED but I have dyscalculia. I can do math if I have the steps mapped out to me, but without some type of help, I cannot do math (I have tried). Is there any way I could get an accommodation for this? I don’t want a cheat sheet. I just want a sheet telling me how to do specific things such as PEMDAS (I don’t remember it on my own) and other equation steps without telling me the answers directly so I can actually work through problems without getting the fundamental steps of certain equations and formulas.
Ladies and gentlemen..I’d like to say,if you are feeling discouraged, please keep going, despite your anxieties. I literally thought I failed because I didn’t really feel confident about a lot of the questions.Language Arts has always been my favorite subject in school, but I still felt as if I would FAIL..Only to find out I passed on the first try. MY MESSAGE TO YOU IS KEEP GOING FRIEND !!! Math will be my most challenging one, but I won’t give up!! You shouldn’t either. One down three more to go ! We’ve got this, yall!!!
🤜🤛
I would like to thank Testprepchampion and getsummath so much. I definitely felt like I wouldn't have been able to do it without watching their videos. If anyone has questions feel free to ask them🥺💕
I dropped out at 17. I hated my high school experience so much. Ended up doing this program the school offered. Put off the test for a couple of years lol I was lowk slacking off. I'm 20 now, went to take the test about 2-3 weeks ago. I ended up passing!! I am so pumped😁Now I have to breeze through the next three🩷
Thanks to getsummath on YouTube I finally passed my math test 2nd attempt. For anyone looking to pass there math I would recommend going to watch his videos for a week or two take notes and then go take the test
I can understand and complete a problem with some guidance and memorization but it just doesn't retain in my brain. How do I get math to just stick/click for me? Any tips on studying that helped you go from being illiterate in math so understanding and passing the GED math test?
I hate language arts; me and all my homies hate language arts.
From Pakistan currently prepping for GED, and comparing the two syllabuses has been kind of a trip. GED honestly feels like it covers pennies of what ALevels go into…
Which makes me wonder… do universities actually consider GED as a serious qualification, or does it just get treated as a formality?
just genuinely trying to understand how admissions weigh it. Anyone been through this or know how unis actually look at it?
How can I improve on it, I’m really disappointed with what I got
Edit- I wrote the essay but I guess it wasn’t enough
Just finished my last exam, so happy I’m done.
My scores were:
Math: 197
Science: 156
Social Studies: 163
English: 162
Finally finished after years of not being in school and being an awful test taker 😂 my last test was social studies and in complete honesty videos did not help me, the things I had to do was mostly all reading and a few graphs. 30 questions and 68 mins was not enough time for all that but hey still passed. Congratulations to whoever else passed today and if you have an exam today, Good luck you got this! Ill be around cheering everyone else on! 👍
I do wanna say if your someone who needs to watch stuff and take notes I did watch getsummath and test prep champions that a lot of people were getting recommended and they do help, it just wasnt in my tests 😂 hope itll help some of you!
I’m taking my GED Math and Science tests in 7 days, and honestly, I’m kinda lost on how to practice from here.
I got 166 in Math ready test but I’m not really satisfied with that score and I haven’t taken the Science Ready Test yet, but I’m planning to take it before the actual test.
I don’t know how to start practicing without either wasting time or completely burning myself out. I really want to get a higher score, but I only have 7 days left.
For people who’ve taken the GED, what would you recommend I do during these last 7 days? Maybe website, youtube or pdf file for practice. What should I focus on?
And how do you avoid burnout when you’re studying this much?
I’d really appreciate any advice. I really need your guys’ help 😭
As the titles says, im not confident about taking the real test. I don’t feel confident about the real test because I feel like none of the things i studied will be on the real one. I say this because this happened to me when I took my science test, I studied all the different charts, graphs and equations that i thought would be on the real science test just for 95% of the test to be reading.
Im in texas, so if theres anyone out there that recently took the math test and is also in texas.
What are the questions that you struggled with, and what are the most common questions that you seen.
do we need to memorize every single formula for changing units like inch to feet etc? I’m kind of worried. I also want to know what type of question showed up the most. thank you!
