Update #3/Another Fire-able offense for older coworker: This time, she dug through our personal information file.

She’s been caught stealing, she’s been caught damaging property, onto the next fireable offense-looking through our personal information file drawer.

She’s gotten away so much that I’ve pretty much given up on going to my bosses when I do see her doing something that we’re not supposed to be doing.

Our bosses want us to bring up issues we have with coworkers but, the only coworker I have issues with never seems to face any consequences for doing something wrong that I should be reporting. So why bother?

I try to mind my own business and clock in/out, but when I do witness something that’s wrong, I try to bring it up to my bosses. My entire time at work, I’ve went to HR once and it was for racism. Otherwise I avoid trying to be a work snitch.

I also only bring up problems that I know people in the past have gotten fired for on the spot because I’ve witnessed them getting fired on the spot for it like stealing and yes we have evidence of her doing it.

Almost everyone on the team has gone to our bosses about issues with her-Including the other two coworkers who also have high seniority over her.

Like today for example.

My other coworker was about to leave, and she saw her going through our bosses files.

These are the No No files. They have everyone’s private information on them, there’s also work information on them that we aren’t supposed to know about.

I have massive seniority over everyone here and even I don’t go behind the desk to touch these files.
I actively avoid touching my bosses desk because it’s a fired on the spot situation. I’m that deathly terrified of touching these files. I don’t even like looking at open notebooks unless there’s a note directly with my name on it.

So obviously my other coworker was alarmed about her going through these files. But because this coworker is very combative, she tried to do it in away where she wouldn’t catch on.

She asked “What are you doing”

“Oh I’m looking for (item that someone else took)”

“Well why would that item be in that drawer. You’re not supposed to be looking through those files”

So she texted my other coworker to let her know about it.

And it’s not even an item she needs because another problem we have with her is that she hoards items and supplies that she doesn’t need and that’s why my other boss (who’s been substituting for my current boss) took it from her. I’ve also lowkey been doing the same thing, taking items back that she’s taken from our supply closet that she doesn’t need but just takes because she’s a hoarder. It’s another thing on the long list of things that we have issues with her and have went to our bosses about and she still does it.

The only problem is our boss is out for the week due to personal reasons.

And now, three coworkers who’ve had issues with her in the past have to tell our boss that there’s another fireable offense she’s committed. But-will we actually be listened to and will she face consequences? I doubt it. It’s why I’ve given up.

A coworker touched the No No Files.

We have this older coworker who seems like she’s always causing problems for herself. She’s only worked here for about 6 months and she’s done at least 4 fireable offenses that I know about and somehow still has a job.

She’s been caught stealing, she’s been caught damaging property and there’s a couple other ones that we’ve brought up to all of our bosses. Things we are not supposed to be doing.

But somehow she’s gotten away with it

She’s gotten away so much that I’ve pretty much given up on going to my bosses when I do see her doing something that we’re not supposed to be doing.

It’s not just me being a work snitch either.

I could practically write a book about the amount of drama that I witness or people tell me, I just don’t because I genuinely do not care.

I also only bring up problems that I know people in the past have gotten fired for on the spot because I’ve witnessed them getting fired on the spot for it like stealing and yes we have evidence of her doing it.

Stealing is like the one of three things people do get fired for at my job along with damaging property and sexual harassment and somehow even though she’s been caught, she still has a job.

My two other coworkers have also brought up these issues to our bosses as well.

Like today for example.

Update: Entitled Older Coworker puts her name on everything; I’m pretty sure she’s a hoarder.

I made a post a few months ago about how this coworker loves to put her name on company supplies and how she takes items from others without asking. Including my own supplies and the bottled water that’s reserved for everyone.

I’m pretty sure that same coworker is a hoarder.

We were talking about it yesterday where she takes supplies she doesn’t need and how messy her area is because she takes too many supplies.

One of my other coworkers is an obsessive neat freak and even she was commenting on how messy their location was due to the hoarding.

She also has more than 2 supplies.

I understand having a back up for when you’re almost out, I used to do something similar where if I knew I was going to be out, but didn’t want to run back to the supply closet, I’d have a backup for that reason but she’ll have 5 big jugged bottles of certain products and she doesn’t need them and doesn’t go through them as fast.

This morning, I walked in to see her name stickied note on a product that’s only for one of our machines and that machine only. She doesn’t need this product at all so I took a picture of it and let my other coworker see it just so I had another witness and told her that it was only reserved for one machine only and she ripped the sticky note off and put it back.

Besides only two of us know how to use this machine and I’m one of them. As far as I’m aware, she does not know how to use this machine and because of her age, I don’t think she’s capable.

We don’t use this machine as much as others. It pretty much sits dormant until summer. There’s no need for her to have this product.

Because she took this specific product, I have a small theory she might be stealing these products to bring home. She’s already been caught stealing already so I wouldn’t be surprised.

It’s super frustrating that within the last week, we’ve caught this coworker stealing items and damaging property with her vehicle and we have evidence of her doing both on camera. Yet somehow still has a job.

We’ve had issues with this coworker in the past. She’s felt entitled to other coworkers work supplies and takes them while they’re actively using them. I’ve had to hide items from her just so she won’t take them while I’m using them.

She’s taking partial cases of water that are meant for everyone and hoarded them for herself.

We’ve complained to our bosses about her doing so as well. Other coworkers have complained about her doing other stuff that we shouldn’t be doing.

But, I’m mean one time in a chat and I get a write up for that. Yet the two things we fire people for on the spot, aside from sexual harassment, she doesn’t get fired.

Of course it happened in the fucking Pitt fandom but, I’ve been loosely paying attention to this drama and it seems like someone wrote an >!rape!< non con fic and someone else on twitter bullied them into deleting it.

At first, the twitter user made it seem like the fanfic user didn’t tag it properly and it was a Langdon >!raping!< Santos fanfic, which everyone was against so people started sending death threats to this fanfic author and got them to delete it.

the user was bragging about getting it deleted and bragging about sending harassment towards the original author.

Then a few days after the kerfuffle of harassment towards this author, it turns out the fic was tagged properly so it’s more on the user for clicking on it.

But this whole event makes me worried for the current state of fandom and fanfiction in general because the twitter user was actively rejoicing in getting the fic taken down and very much high on their own supply.

I write for a big fandom that’s just as obnoxious and holier than thou like the Pitt and I write a lot of dead dove fanfiction where characters over come their traumas and struggle with it. It’s not an easy time. It’s never focused on the events themselves but rather the aftermath and it’s never sanitized.

I’m so worried that mine will be put on blast by people like this.

A few years ago we had a coworker who genuinely got mad enough to complain to our bosses about how we spent our money.

Every year during the summer, my city does a festival and it has food trucks and vendors. It’s right next to our work building, and even my bosses don’t expect us to get much work done during that week because you can’t have a festival next to a building where a bunch of girls work and expect them to be productive that day.

It’s become an annual tradition of sneaking out and going to the festival together. I honestly look forward to it every year.

Most of us did the right thing and clocked out so we wouldn’t get in trouble.

I tried to only be gone for an hour then get back to work but I wasn’t feeling it after eating a bunch of vendor food, I did try to help him and another person who was with us.

He then spent the rest of the day complaining that it wasn’t fair that the woman could sneak out and have fun and “the woman only got away with it because of their tits and it must be nice to get favors because they have boobs”

I don’t know if he forgot that I was a girl or that I was friendly with the girl he was complaining about because it’s not like my boobs are small so I spent the entire time looking down at mine being like “Buddy, what do you think these are.”

I’m pretty sure I ended up clocking out early that day because I was tired of him complaining so much.

However, He then complained to our bosses about me going to concerts and my other coworker going on vacations because she wrote on the board “Work towards vacations”. We got told that we couldn’t brag about any extra expenses.

Because any time someone had something nice, he would complain about it. New headphones, complain, new phone, complain, new video game, complain.

I only remembered that this even happened because I was making fun of him for how ridiculous he was being about it today because god forbid we spend our money that we work hard for.
