Aji Sushi Teppan

I saw the recent post in this sub about Shin Sushi opening soon, and it got me thinking about Aji Sushi Teppan over in Winter Garden Village. Aji was planning to open a Clermont location on North Hancock (I think just north of Target) riiiiiight before the pandemic hit, and then.... nothing.

Has anyone heard anything else about whether they are going to open a Clermont location. It's been 6 years now, so I don't have my hopes up.

Anyone else having issues with EPASS comms (emails) lately?

First, I must say that I'm surprised there isn't an EPASS/CF Expressway Authority subreddit yet.

Anyway, my kid attends college in Central FL but I live out of state. I rely on the "low balance" notification emails to know when it's time to (manually*) replenish our EPASS account. I also like having email confirmations when I pay.

Yet, over (at least) the past couple of months, those emails don't get sent anymore. Or, they are sporadic. They are not going to a spam folder. I've even spoken over the phone with EPASS and they didn't really have anything to tell me - they made it sound like it must be something on my end.

I've changed nothing in the way of comms setting with the EPASS account. I still get the monthly "EPASS statement" emails. But just yesterday I made an EPASS payment and.... nothing. No email confirmation.

Anyone else experiencing this lately?

(*I've tried multiple times to again set up auto. replenish, with no success)

Curious how other folks handle $0 transactions

Hello all.

Every so often I will have a transaction - let's say, an Amazon purchase - wherein the total purchase amount is $0, because I'm using credit card rewards, or I'm using a gift card, etc.

I'm curious if other YNAB'ers even enter these transaction. Obviously $0 transactions just have a blank/null amount for outflow/inflow, and there's no transaction to import/sync b/c your financial institution will not produce a transaction.

Are these types of transactions even worth entering, other than for simple record-keeping purposes?

Hampton Inn Florence Center vs. North-I-95

Florence is pretty much the halfway point along a road trip I have coming up next month. I want to stay overnight at a Hampton Inn (although I'm open to suggestions for similarly-priced accommodations). I will have a U-Haul/Penske moving truck.

Of the two Florence locations, which do you locals think is the better choice? The one by Florence Center, or the more northern 'North I-95' locations?

I'm simply looking for which one may have easier access to/from the highway, overnight safety, proximity to good food, and generally a better lodging experience.

TIA

MK1 Definitive Edition UPGRADE much more expensive than the Definitive Edition game entirely.

So I decided to buy MK1 today for the PS5. Because I’m “old school” and enjoy having physical copies of games, I purchased MK1 at Best Buy for $21. “Not bad”, I thought.

I then proceeded to purchase the DE upgrade from the PS Store. Mind you, the Store only lets me see/purchase the upgrade because I already own the base game. The upgrade was $59.99.

But if I’d not already had my (physical) copy of the base game, I could have purchased the entire MK1 DE game for $20.99. In other words, it seems that I spent additional $60 just to have a physical copy.

What am I missing? Why wouldn’t the price of the DE upgrade be at least reduced to the cost of the entire DE game?
