Hope this is allowed & not annoying, but my band, Billy Bonney, is playing at The Church Studio this Thursday & it’s one of my favorite places ever, so decided to paint it in honor of Leon & the Tulsa music scene.
Wrote this about Steve Gaines! We’re an Okie band, so wanted to write one about an Oklahoma legend!
My friend is getting married, and they’re both Lord of The Rings mega fans, so I painted this for them. Doing this got me back into this world (even learned this song on slide guitar and have pulled it out at gigs lately).
