My Open-Source FuckingFast / FitGirl Downloader (JDownloader2 alternative) just got a major update!
Hey everyone,
Yesterday I shared a tool I made to fix the annoying "always offline" issue many of us were having with JDownloader2 and fuckingfast.co links. The response was awesome, and based on my own testing and some feedback, I've just released Version 1.1 with some huge quality-of-life improvements!
For those who missed the first post: This is a standalone Python tool (with a clean UI) that automatically bypasses Cloudflare protections under the hood, maxes out your bandwidth with concurrent downloads, and auto-extracts your games when finished.
What's new in v1.1:
- Smart Batch Grouping (The "Optional Files" Fix): Previously, downloading main game parts alongside optional bonus/language files created a mess of separate folders. Now, the app prompts you to group everything from a single paste into one perfectly organized folder!
- Persistent Settings: No more resetting your preferences every time. You can now save your default download directory, customize the number of concurrent downloads to max out your connection, and save your auto-extract preferences.
- Import from TXT: Have a massive list of links? You can now import them directly from a .txt file via the new File menu.
- Cleaner UI: Added a proper top Menu Bar, a built-in Help menu (with links to report issues or read the contributing guide), and merged the clunky Start/Resume buttons into a single, smarter action button.
Core Features (For new users):
- Auto-Cloudflare Bypass: Mimics a real browser to fetch the direct links. No captchas, no ads.
- Auto-Extraction: Once all parts are downloaded, it automatically extracts the RAR archive in the background.
- Standalone: You don't need Python, WinRAR, or 7-Zip installed. It has its own extraction engine bundled inside. Just double-click the .exe and go.
It's completely free and open-source. If you run into any problems or have feature requests, there's now a handy "Contact Us" button in the Help menu that links right to the GitHub issues page.
I will add other providers in the future!
