Part 1: JoJo attempts to escape as in the musical- but Schmitz drops the "distinguished officer" image and follows him!

Part 2: The parents are told of both JoJo and Schmitz's deaths... But the Cat informs us otherwise.

Part 3: Schmitz proves that he's actually learned from this, and gives JoJo the okay on heading home- after which the scene leads into "Havin' a Hunch" and the musical proceeds as usual.
