Releasing class decks and then waiting almost 2+ weeks to balance really kills the vibe

How long are we going to wait to see “stronger class moments” and “more noticeable meta shifts”?

And what about when they release another 4 class decks, are we going to forget about the old ones that still aren’t balanced?

Really salty about the release and Leyline mage

Holy crap I didn’t think my childhood game would be this stressful! I think I’ve learned how to boost now lol This game is as much fun as it was back then haha!

I only play mage or battlegrounds. Since I don’t buy a lot of packs (my money goes to battlegrounds) I usually disenchant the legendaries and epics from other classes to make new decks for mage whenever there’s a new season.

But I have been playing for a really long time, I think I started around the karazhan nights. I really liked frost jaina, highlander mage, casino mage, secret mage the skeleton mage and basically any control deck. I only played a bit of Protoss mage and elemental tempo mage.

I don’t really remember when was the last time mage had a good control deck (besides Protoss as I hear) and with every new expansion I look for the Mage cards and then trying to come up with combinations. Right now I can’t seem to put leylines and quest mage together, if I focus on discover, then I can’t really play the leylines minions to level them up as just leylines is a really straightforward deck with not much agency vs something like imbue rogue.

As I’m not really good at deck building I see a lot of the deck sites and see a lot of the win rates and mage hasn’t been on the top or mid decks for a long time now.

I’m disappointed with how overlooked mage is and am really jealous of rogue decks, as they have so many tools and a rewind imbue.

Is it possible Blizzard has moved on from Mage or they don’t know what to do with it?

Is a viable control mage deck too much to ask? It’s been a long time.

Another year another disappointment. Sorry for the rant, I’m not an explosive hater but I wanted to know how other people look at the decks we have, maybe even other people’s perspective from Mage or other classes and your experience.
