Armor 28 Ultra Thermal Speaker/call issues

Hello everyone,

Quite literally just unboxed my armor 28 ultra! It's a VERY fast phone, but I got a phone call and immediately was told the echo on SpeakerPhone was horrible.

Combined with the tinny loudspeaker, that sounds much worse than the 18T Ultra that I am comparing it to, it makes speaker calls or playing anything out loud a pretty poor experience.

I saw a post about a year ago with people also having speaker/microphone/call issues and can't find any updates that it was fixed or someone found the issue?

Currently updated everything software related, but I'm not sure if the speaker really is that much worse than the previous models or if possibly I have a blown speaker. Especially since it's almost all highs and no lows.

Appreciate any insight, I contacted Ulefone in hopes of maybe being sent a new loudspeaker or exchanging the phone. But $900 for a phone that you can't make speaker calls on or play audio out loud is not something I'm willing to do.

21' P2 OEM Battery finally died

A bit over 5 years on the original battery... 55k miles. Zero warning but I knew I was on borrowed time.

It was plugged in to 240v and charge was complete. App (before update) said battery was in good health. Had enough juice to open the tailgate and then all the lights started flickering and once I sat down in the seat it was game over. Screen flashed a bunch of errors and then shut off. Lots of clicking from behind the dash.

Measured voltage? See above, 6.26v and dropping slowly.

I doubt it was related to the recent update, but I would have appreciated some warning that the OBC had given up trickle charging the battery and knew it was on its death bed.

Replaced with AutoZone (the only chain with a 5 year warranty on their elite batteries in the U.S I can find) Group H6. Flat $300 and maybe 30min of work to get in there. You only need your hands and an 8mm and 10mm socket + extension.

Side note, found the washer main line had become partially disconnected near the passenger side hood hinge, which explains my extremely low pressure while also very high washer fluid consumption. Easy fix, I will note that there is a rubber washer in there that was trying to escape, so if yours is disconnected, ensure it's still there otherwise you'll still have a leak!
