Popcorn Hat similar to Uncle Sam’s Hat
Happy 4th of July everyone! Can you believe America is officially 250 years old? I do wanna talk about one of Doraemon’s interesting gadgets. The Popcorn Hat is a gadget we all want to make popcorn instantly from people’s anger, but what caught me the most is that it’s supposedly American-themed. If you look closely at the colors, it’s similar to the American flag. Another thing that caught my attention is the Popcorn Hat is giving me Uncle Sam vibes. I know both hats don’t look similar, but it was just a thought
Doraemon Fan Story: The Case of Suchomimus’s Identity
Toshiko.
[SCENE START]
INT. NOBITA’S BEDROOM - DAY
Nobita is sprawled out on the tatami mats, lazily reading a comic book. DORAEMON is happily munching on a plate of dorayaki.
Suddenly, the main bedroom door is slammed open with a loud BAM!
Toshiko bursts into the room. Her eyes are watery, her breathing is heavy, and she is clutching a scientific journal to her chest like a shield.
NOBITA
(Yelps, jumping back)
Whoa! Toshiko, you scared the daylights out of me!
DORAEMON
(Chokes on his dorayaki, coughing)
Toshiko, what’s wrong? Did Gian try to make you listen to his singing practice again?
TOSHIKO
(Voice trembling with pure nerd-rage)
Worse, Doraemon. Much worse! They’ve erased him. He’s gone! Gone from the history books!
NOBITA
(Blinks, confused)
Uh... who's gone? Suneo? Did he get grounded?
TOSHIKO
(Slamming the journal down on Nobita’s desk)
Suchomimus! A premier Early Cretaceous spinosaurid! Some paleontologists are publishing a paper claiming that recent fossil discoveries of sensory snouts in Niger prove Suchomimus is actually just a junior synonym for Cristatusaurus!
Nobita and Doraemon stare at her, completely blank expressions on their faces. A cricket chirps in the background.
NOBITA
...Is that a type of sushi, or...?
TOSHIKO
(Grips Nobita’s shoulders, shaking him desperately)
It’s a massive, crocodile-snouted apex predator, Noby! If they classify it as Cristatusaurus, the name Suchomimus completely disappears! It’ll just be a historical footnote! I can't sleep, I can't eat—I need to know the truth!
DORAEMON
(Sweatdropping, pulling out a handkerchief)
Okay, okay! Calm down, Penny! Deep breaths. Science changes all the time when new fossils are found—
TOSHIKO
(Tears threatening to spill)
But Suchomimus is my favorite croc-mimic! If the sensory pits in their snouts are truly identical, I'll accept the classification... but the fossil fragments we have today are too incomplete to be 100% sure. Doraemon, please! We have to see a living one to find out if Suchomimus was real or not!
Doraemon looks at Nobita, then looks at Toshiko's heartbreakingly desperate face. He sighs with a warm, supportive smile.
DORAEMON
Well... I guess there’s only one way to solve a paleontology mystery!
Doraemon hops over to the desk drawer and pulls it open, pointing inside dramatically.
DORAEMON
To the Time Machine!
INT. THE TIME TUNNEL - CONTINUOUS
The iconic psychedelic clock faces drift past as the Time Machine flies through the vortex. Doraemon is steering, Toshiko is standing at the front, her eyes sparkling with determination, and Nobita is clinging to the railing, looking green.
NOBITA
Remind me why I had to come along? Prehistoric times usually involve things trying to eat me!
TOSHIKO
Because, Noby, you’re going to help me hold the equipment! We’re heading straight to the Aptian-Albian age of the Early Cretaceous—about 110 million years ago!
EXT. CRETACEOUS RIVER DELTA - DAY
The Time Machine materializes in a flash of light. The environment is a lush, humid tropical paradise. Massive ferns, ancient conifers, and a wide, rushing river dominate the landscape. In the distance, pterosaurs soar through the sky.
Toshiko immediately hops off the platform, her boots splashing into the mud.
TOSHIKO
Perfect! The Gadoufaoua formation! Keep your eyes peeled for a riverbank predator.
Doraemon reaches into his 4D pocket, rummaging around.
DORAEMON
Let's see... Submarine? No. Regular camera? No. Ah! Here it is!
(Holds it high above his head)
THE ANATOMY-FINDER SCANNING GLASS!
Doraemon hands a high-tech, oversized magnifying glass with a digital readout to Toshiko.
DORAEMON
Just point this at any living creature, and it will instantly map out their skeletal and neurovascular structure compared to modern fossil records!
TOSHIKO
(With eyes shining)
Doraemon, you are a scientific miracle!
Suddenly, a massive SPLASH echoes from the river. The water ripples violently.
NOBITA
(Screaming, jumping into Doraemon’s arms)
G-G-GIANT CROCODILE!!
Emerging from the water is a magnificent, 30-foot-long predator. It has a long, narrow snout like a gharial, powerful arms with massive thumb claws, and a striking, low sail along its back. It shakes the water off its hide, letting out a low, vibrating rumble.
TOSHIKO
(Gasping, completely starstruck)
It’s beautiful... It’s exactly as I imagined.
The dinosaur notices them, tilting its head. It steps onto the riverbank, sniffing the air. Nobita whimpers, but Toshiko holds her ground, entirely fearless. She holds up the Scanning Glass, aiming it right at the dinosaur’s snout as it lowers its head toward them.
TOSHIKO
Hold still, big guy... just need to scan the premaxilla...
The Scanning Glass emits a soft blue grid, scanning the tip of the dinosaur's snout. The digital screen rapidly crunches data, comparing the living tissue to the fossil logs of both Suchomimus and Cristatusaurus.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
The screen flashes bright red with an alert text reading: CRITICAL DISCREPANCY DETECTED.
Toshiko's eyes widen. She zooms in on the digital schematic.
TOSHIKO
Wait... look at the internal neurovascular pathways! While the surface sensory pits look similar to Cristatusaurus, the actual internal branching of the nerve channels in the snout is completely unique! And look at the slight variation in the premaxillary tooth spacing!
DORAEMON
(Leaning in, adjusting his whiskers)
What does that mean, Penny?
TOSHIKO
(Gasping, her face lighting up with absolute joy)
It means they are not the same! The paper was based on incomplete fossil fragments that only showed the surface, but the full, living anatomy proves they have entirely distinct sensory adaptations! Suchomimus is a completely valid, separate genus! It won't be synonymized!
The dinosaur lets out a gentle puff of air from its nostrils, blowing Toshiko's Maki-style hair back, before turning around and lumbering back into the river to hunt for fish.
NOBITA
(Poking his head out)
So... your favorite dinosaur is saved?!
TOSHIKO
(Jumping up and down, cheering)
Yes! Suchomimus is real! It's officially real!
EXT. THE EMPTY LOT (PRESENT DAY) - LATE AFTERNOON
The sun is setting, casting a warm, golden orange glow over the neighborhood. Toshiko is sitting on the concrete pipes, happily sketching the internal snout structure in her notebook.
Suneo walks into the lot, hands in his pockets. He spots her and hesitates, looking a little nervous, before walking over and hopping up onto the pipe next to her.
SUNEO
Hey, Toshiko. Nobita told me you were having a massive crisis about... uh... some ancient giant lizard getting its name changed?
TOSHIKO
(Smiling brightly, closing her notebook)
Not anymore, Suneo! We proved the synonymization was wrong. Suchomimus gets to keep his name!
Suneo reaches behind his back and pulls out a sleek, premium, imported dinosaur model kit from France, shoving it toward her while looking away, a slight blush creeping onto his cheeks.
SUNEO
Well... I didn't know you fixed it already. My cousin in Paris tracked down this limited-edition model of him. I figured... you know... you should have it. Since you're the only person I know who actually appreciates it.
Toshiko blinks, genuinely touched. A warm smile spreads across her face.
TOSHIKO
Suneo... thank you. That’s incredibly thoughtful of you.
She reaches out to take the box. As she does, her hand gently brushes against Suneo’s. Both of them freeze, looking at their hands, and then look up at each other.
Instantly, both of their faces turn a bright, dark shade of pink. Suneo clears his throat nervously, completely flustered, but he doesn't pull his hand away. Toshiko just gives a soft, happy little giggle.
Behind the fence, Doraemon and Nobita are peeking out, grinning from ear to ear.
NOBITA
(Whispering)
See? I told you she'd be happy!
DORAEMON
(Giggling, nudging Nobita)
Shh! Don't ruin the moment, Noby!
The camera pans up to the beautiful sunset sky as the classic Doraemon theme music fades in softly.
[SCENE END]
Goodbye Suchomimus, Hello Cristatusaurus
So sad we’ve lost Suchomimus. Hope the devs rename this spinosaurid to its new name, Cristatusaurus at some point of they heard the devastating news
Do NOT Join Dynasty Realism! Here’s Why
I need to vent a bit and see if anyone else feels the same way. I’ve been trying to play on Dynasty Realism lately, and honestly, the environment is just getting incredibly stressful.
The community feels hyper-aggressive, and it’s not just the PvP, it’s the way people law-boy the rules. The rulebook is already incredibly confusing to navigate, but the absolute worst part is the punishment system. Losing hours and hours of tedious growth and being dropped all the way back to a hatchling upon death is just devastating.
Because the stakes are so high, it feels like everyone is constantly walking on eggshells or looking for a reason to report you to protect their own progress. If you cross an invisible line or misinterpret a vague profile rule by an inch, boom, hours of your life gone.
Honestly, trying to learn the rules feels like studying for a bar exam. You aren't just reading basic gameplay guidelines; you're trying to memorize pages upon pages of legalistic text, hidden server passcodes, and hyper-detailed species profiles.
I love the concept of actual dinosaur realism, but right now it feels less like an immersive game and more like an unpaid job where your boss is waiting to fire you for a minor typo.
Doraemon/Jurassic Park Collab
To celebrate 33 years of Jurassic Park, I was thinking of a crossover of Doraemon and Jurassic Park since I’m a Dino lover myself. I loved watching the 2006 remake of Nobita’s Dinosaur alongside the 2020 version and the 2012 film since I’m also into Cenozoic life as well. I would also like to know if there’s any dinosaur related episodes I could watch to celebrate Jurassic Park’s 33rd anniversary
Toshiko Ishii
Note: This is not my art!
I wanna give a huge thank you to GreenVisible3664 for drawing my OC and doing a great job! What do you think of her? Also, her necklace is a raptor claw, not a crescent moon if you’re confused
Thoughts on Pisuke?
What are your thoughts on Pisuke? I think he’s the most lovable Futabasarus and I wish he was mentioned/recognized more in the franchise. Would you agree?
Cyborg 009: Nemesis Simulcasted?
So, while I’m just scrolling among the Webster website, I came across Cyborg 009: Nemesis. I’m just curious if the anime releases I’m guessing it’ll be simulcasted. Is that possible?
Doraemon OC: Toshiko Ishii
Toshiko is a present-day kid with an absolute obsession with paleontology and dinosaurs. Her bedroom at home is essentially a personal museum, completely packed with highly detailed dinosaur figurines, geological timelines, and genuine fossils like ammonites and trilobites. She knows the history, behavior, and anatomy of almost every prehistoric creature to ever exist. Because she genuinely loves all of them for different reasons, she can never choose a single favorite dinosaur! Whenever Doraemon takes the gang on a time-travel field trip to the past, Toshiko acts as the ultimate survival guide, effortlessly identifying species and keeping everyone safe using her clever mind.
Quick Profile
English Dub Name: Penny Archeo (Bang Zoom! Dub style)
Age: 10 years old
Birthday: June 1st (Dinosaur Day!)
Appearance: She features a distinct, non-gendered appearance with a "Maki style" haircut. Because of her short hair and practical, outdoorsy style, characters who don't know her sometimes mistake her for a boy!
Personality: Kind, incredibly smart, and clever.
Fun Name Origin: Her name literally translates to "Clever Child," which is a meta-reference to Robert Muldoon’s famous line, "Clever girl," right before his fate with the Velociraptor in Jurassic Park!
Relationships
Suneo: They start out in a classic love-hate relationship. Suneo loves to brag about his expensive family fossil collections, but Toshiko constantly (and kindly) upstages him by correcting his outdated facts. While it bruises his ego at first, Suneo grows to deeply respect her passion and intelligence. Over time, they build a powerful, genuine bond. In the future timeline, they are actually married! Adult Suneo uses his family wealth to sponsor Toshiko’s groundbreaking scientific dig sites and museum exhibits, and he loves nothing more than bragging about how famous and brilliant his wife is.
Nobita: Toshiko is a lifesaver for Nobita. Whenever he makes wild, reckless bets about finding dinosaur fossils, Toshiko is the one who actually helps him dig, properly identifies the fragments, and keeps him from accidentally ruining priceless specimens.
Gian: Gian deeply respects her bravery and brains during adventures, but they have a hilarious comedic dynamic. Sometimes she’ll stand up against him when he’s bullying Nobita, but have a good friendship
Shizuka: They are the ultimate "girl power" duo. Shizuka brings a gentle, logical grounding to the group, while Toshiko brings the high-energy thrill of adventure. Shizuka is also the first to notice Suneo’s crush and plays matchmaker for them.
Doraemon: Doraemon absolutely loves having Toshiko around because she actually studies and appreciates the eras they visit. She is always ecstatic to use gadgets like the Time Clothes to restore fossil fragments.
Let me know what you think of her!
Was there a time where Gian had a soft heart?
We all know Gian is a bully, but is there a time where he’s always kind to someone and has a soft spot?
Is Anixo shutdown already?
So I was just wondering what’s going on with the website and it doesn’t seem to be working. Has it been shutdown that quickly
New Enormous Euhelopid Sauropod Discovered in Thailand
Nagatitan chaiyaphumensis is a newly discovered (2026) genus of large, long-necked euhelopodid sauropod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous (Aptian–Albian, ~113 million years ago) of Thailand. As the largest dinosaur found in Southeast Asia, it was approximately 27 meters (89 feet) long and weighed 27 tonnes, characterized by long, robust forelimbs. A massive, long-necked, herbivorous titan with a particularly long right humerus (forearm) measuring about 5.8 feet (1.76 m), suggesting a robust front stance. Nagatitan refers to "Naga," a mythical serpent often found in Thai, Buddhist, and Hindu culture, and "titan" for a giant.
Anixo site not showing
I was about to watch some anime, but the site is not showing. Does anyone know what’s going on?
