WIX requiring picture of Social Security Card to receive payouts?
I've had a WIX site for about 5 years now, but had it shut down for the past two years. The first three years went fine, receiving orders and getting payouts. Went to boot it back up today and now they are requiring that I upload a photo of my Social Security Card (as well as photos of Driver's License and bank statements) to verify identity before allowing payouts. I never had to do this previously and it feels a bit sketchy. Is everyone doing this? I am reluctant to do it. WIX's customer service person, which apparently was a "real person" but just felt like an AI bot with a 7th grader's grammar and punctuation, insisted there were no workarounds and that it was required. I don't feel good about it and considering other options. Any input is appreciated.
