I'm in town and going to the game tonight. Staying in Center City. I'm looking for a hoodie for my daughter to wear that doesn't cost $100.
I was in West Chester yesterday and tried Target, WalMart, and Burlington. Target was the only place that had some, but they were the royal blue, which I hate because that's not really our color. But that's a discussion for a different thread.
Anyway, anyone know who may have cheap gear in Center City? Just for fun, I tried Mitchell & Ness and Shibe knowing they're $$$, hoping to find sale or clearance.
In related news, I miss the days when there were street vendors on every corner. Used to be able to buy a jersey, a Rolex and 4 pretzels for like $25.
ETA - I'm from Philly and know all the big places that carry stuff. I checked those with no luck. I'm hoping there's some hidden store I don't know about.
The internet wasn't much help when I looked.
Will be in town later this week. Staying in Center City. Need a place for dinner for me and my two kids for Thursday night and Friday night. One is 18 (other is 21). I want to try Good Dog, but I don't know if it's only 21 and older.
If so, anyone have any suggestions? I am from Philly, both of my kids are in college there, and I'm back pretty regularly, so I'm familiar with the area. But I struggle to find casual, inexpensive spots in Center City where we can all go. One of us has a gluten allergy and another a dairy allergy, so that makes things hard too. But can easily make do with a good salad that we could just leave the cheese off of.
Staying in the Gayborhood, and looking for something within walking distance. Thanks!
