Using ChatGPT as a supplement for USMLE prep—worth it?

I've been using ChatGPT to quiz myself with NBME-style questions in Ethics, Biostatistics, and other USMLE subjects during my free time. It's mostly a way to change up my routine rather than replace UWorld or NBMEs.
For anyone else who's done this, did you find it actually helped your performance or retention? Did it translate well to the real exam/NBMEs, or is it mostly useful as active recall practice?

Non-US IMG applying this Match cycle without US LoRs – what are my options?

I’m a non-US IMG planning to apply for this year’s Match.
My main problem is that I currently do not have any US Letters of Recommendation, and due to financial/logistical reasons I cannot do a US elective, observership, externship, or other US clinical experience before applications are submitted.
Are there any realistic ways to obtain LoRs without doing those experiences?
Can I apply with only home-country LoRs? Has anyone matched as a non-US IMG without US LoRs?
What would you do if you were in my situation and still wanted to apply this cycle?
Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
