Got ripped off my an online store, can I tell police?

by***

I got ripped off by an arab online bookstore, they sold me a book that was supposedly an original worth 25,000 and it turned out to be a fake print worth AT MOST 3,000.
How can I get my money back? It’s a bookstore in the southern cities I think. Can I go to the police?

Salam and Hi all, I am flying to Erbil on Saturday morning and I want some ideas for places which I must visit. I am also looking for hotel recommendations with reasonable prices near the citadil. Any tips really as I am nervous. Should I wear hijab or no? How is the weather? And is it safe for women? I also intend to leave to Baghdad on Sunday, any ideas on how can I do so? Thanks

why do we not have AMAZON, SHEIN… etc deliveries?

I always check random websites and main ones like shein and why do they never deliver to iraq? it’s so infuriating to me especially because every other country has had that for decades. why are we so behind in that aspect? even national deliveries are done via taxis.

Can I get hired in a company if it's my first job ?

I'm a grade 12 student and will be looking for a job after I finish
my 2 main languages are kurdish and arabic
and I speak English very well

i don't want to work as a janitor, waiter, cashier.....or any kind of these jobs
I mean like a call center agent, customer service, things like that

and my question is do I need to work like 8+ hours a day ?

the salary is not really a big issue for me as long as I'm getting paid

Hi everyone! Just wanted to ask a quick question as I’m moving to Erbil soon. What’s the most common payment method in Erbil? Is it FIB? Qi? Or just cash? Thank you in advance.

Moving to Erbil as a woman

Hi there

I want to move to Erbil, find a job and stay there. I'm 26 years old I have a bachelor degree in English, few years of experience and a tech field certificates. I prefer office jobs. I'm also Iraqi I know English and Arabic. I have some questions:

Is it possible to get a job with a good salary? And where normally jobs can be found? Is it LinkedIn?

Can I get an affordable place to live and safe one, I prefer to be alone but if there is a share accommodation with good girls I don't mind live with them as a starting.

What official paper I will need to get from Kurdistan government? Residence document ? I don't have any idea about that.

Favorite spots to hang out with friends? Other than restaurants and cafes?

I find it really annoying and difficult to find new spots for hang out or things to do other than cafe’s and restaurants. Do you guys have any place recommendations that you like hanging out in? Some newer activities and stuff or cool places to see

Women’s right organizations

Are there reliable guaranteed women’s rights organization that will take me in for some weeks as a survivor of domestic violence from Duhok province ?

If you don’t have an eligible answer to the question, please kindly keep your clan beliefs to yourself.
