How much money and time will Chai spend shutting down users complaints instead of actually working on the app?

I just saw that the third unofficial chai subreddit with nearly 25k members that allowed people to freely rant about Chai now has moderation filters on words like “greedy,” “unlimited,” etc. We already can’t post anything critical on the official subreddit or the 100k-member unofficial subreddit because both of them have blocked it, and now this one too?

The fact that these are unofficial subreddits is what’s crazy to me. It genuinely makes me wonder whether the mods are being paid. I do think they are, because you’re telling me the mods somehow didn’t notice all the suspicious downvoting on complaints, accounts and chatbots constantly defending Chai, or even Chai developers lurking in these subs and arguing with users but the moment people start complaining, suddenly posts get blocked or filtered?

If Chai is actually spending money or resources trying to control criticism, why not put that money into genuinely improving the app instead? Address the problems people are complaining about rather than making users feel like they’re being silenced.

Will this sub also turn like r/chaiapp and r/chaiunoffical blocking discussion in the name of repetition 🫩🫩☝️

Genuine question will this sub also block complaints under the name of “repetitive posts“ and not let people discuss things leaving us to do nothing but glaze or whatever? since this is the only subreddit where we can POST. No hate to the mods though just a random question.

Does no one want the old chat history system back, where chats were preserved? Is everyone happy with the current 30 - 14 day deletion?

It seems like everyone is okay with it expect a bunch of people.

“Oh we added more PoWeRfULL AI to our SUbsCriBers😠” The powerful ai in question. Generates BS and automatically deletes the whole chat by itself.
