Just starting out, my PRs so far.

I just turned 30 a couple days ago and the past few weeks I’ve been getting more serious about lifting. I’m 6’ and currently about 211 lbs. The last body scan I had shows me at about 18% body fat. Over the past couple years I’ve lost weight from about 257 at my highest. I’ve never really done any conventional power lifting, but I’ve intermittently done quite a bit of isolation stuff and would consider myself to have a decent strength foundation. So far here are my PRs.

Deadlift - 305 Bench - 175 Strict press - 125 Back squat - 195 (this is likely my proportionately weakest lift, but I didn’t go up to my max yet, I just know that I can complete a rep AT LEAST at 195).

Does this seem like a decent foundation to begin with? Any recommendations for programs to increase my PRs? I’ve been working on DL, bench and strict press quite a bit. For example, today I did three sets of 20 bench at 95, and 3 sets of 6 at 135 along with 3 sets of 5 rep DL at 225.

29m, squamous cell carcinoma of the groin (weird location).

Starting around when I was 27 years old, I began developing what I thought was a jock itch rash in the crease of my groin on the left side. after several months of being red, irritated, and itchy, a patch began to rise slightly that was white and macerated in appearance, rough to the touch, but soft as in it was not hard but further than the surrounding tissue. It grew in a linear fashion but very slowly to where it was eventually about 3cm in length and 1cm wide. I thought it was just macerated or hyperkeratonized tissue from a chronic infection. I finally went to a dermatologist and she did a shave biopsy. I got the results back yesterday that it’s a well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. I just got home from my Mohs procedure and it went very well. It was removed in entirety on the first excision, well differentiated and showed no perineural or lymphovascular invasion. He did a CK5 stain to make sure it was all gone, and defined it as “crystal clear “. It’s been a bit of an emotional roller coaster but I’m glad to hopefully be able to put this behind me.

Well differentiated SCC of the groin in myself, a 29 year old male (with Mohs picture)

I finally went to a dermatologist and she did a shave biopsy. I got the results back yesterday that it’s a well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. I’m sitting down in the surgeons office now after the first excisional stage waiting for the margins to be checked. Obviously I haven’t received the final results, but the surgeon said in the initial biopsy there was no PNI and he would be surprised if there was any, and that the risk of spread is very very low. Not really a question, but it’s rare in my age group to show up here so I thought you guys would be interested.

29 years old, just got diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma

Starting around when I was 27 years old, I began developing what I thought was a jock itch rash in the crease of my groin on the left side. after several months of being red, irritated, and itchy, a patch began to rise slightly that was white and macerated in appearance, rough to the touch, but soft as in it was not hard but further than the surrounding tissue. I finally went to a dermatologist and she did a shave biopsy. I just got the results back that it’s a well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. I’m scheduled for a Mohs procedure tomorrow. How worried should I be? She said they don’t typically do any imaging or follow up other than skin checks following the excision. Anyone have any experience with this?
