With the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 generation coming in, I'm honestly more interested in the emulation side than the benchmark numbers.

The really interesting part is Qualcomm apparently starting to take PC game translation on Android more seriously, including work on official GPU drivers.

If Qualcomm actually delivers good driver support, do you think this could be the generation where Android PC emulation becomes significantly more consistent?

I'm wondering about the bigger picture:

Switch emulation

PS3 emulation

Winlator / PC games

Driver compatibility

Sustained performance and thermals

We've already seen Snapdragon chips become ridiculously capable for emulation. If the driver situation improves alongside the hardware, how far do you think these phones can realistically go?

What would be the first emulator/game you'd test on an 8 Elite Gen 6 device?

I have asus asus tuf a14(intel 10 gen, windows 11). Yesterday I woke up and turned on my laptop and it opened and showed battery low and then turned off. After that I plugged in the charger and it is not showing charging and, I tried another charger still shows no charging light. So I took it to a laptop repair shop and they said the power unit in motherboard has a problem and they fixed it but now laptop is getting on but battery is not charging remains at 0%. What could be the issue?
