Older DAPs Question
So I’ve been lurking here for a little bit because I’ve been digitizing my recent CD collection. And I’m wanting to eventually/soon transition from using my phone as my digital music player.
I’ve noticed a lot of the activity here seems to be focused on newer DAPs. And I’m wondering if anyone has some guidance when it comes to older players other than the iPods, and I guess zunes? Although I’m open to hearing about zune, only ever knew one person who had one growing up as a millennial lol.
I started out on a little blue and silver sandisk and eventually moved to iPod then phone, along side all the analogue formats. For my background and familiarity.
I’m aware of what looks to be popular now but for the folks that found something they liked during the 2010’s and are still happy with what they have, could you share your secrets? How often do you use your setups? Do you have a large collection of players you hop between? Any words of wisdom you’ve gained being in the hobby for at least half a decade? What were your goals with a separate player from a phone then, and have they changed since?
