New rex bunny.

Hi all,

Today we picked up our 5 year-old from a "coupling vacation". He found a new girlfriend (she's too young to be a bunwife). She is a rex. Now here is what I find strange. She is only 4-5 months, microchipped, but she was found alone outside. I assume they tried to contact their family. Maybe she escaped and they never registered the chip? But then why didn't they look for her? (She was in a known bunny shelter). I mean you go to the trouble of going with a breeder and then just lose the bunny?

She is very soft and pretty but not spayed yet. Which stresses me a bit (I know it can go wrong). Here is a photo.

Labubu, the origin

I took this little one to the mothership (Popland). She had a great time!

Over the rainbow

My beautiful bunny passed away last night. We had just landed after a 10 hr intercontinental flight when the sitter called. She had taken her to the vet and they were trying to stabilise her, but in the end they couldn't. We said goodbye via video call. We are heartbroken. She gave us 12 years. She was such a character. Binky free my beloved little bunny.

Tea in China

Hi all. Due to medical reasons I cannot have too much caffeine (even though I love tea and coffee). Decaf is ok according to the doctor. Are there types of tea in China that have less caffeine than others? Or are there herbal teas that I can order instead? (In Europe, Rooiboos doesn't have caffeine). Is decaf coffee a thing there? TIA.

Itinerary recommendations 24 days in China

Hi all,

Our trip to China is almost here. We have a pretty good idea on what to do in some places except Guangzhou and HongKong, so we'd love some advice there. Also about where and WHAT to eat!! We are meeting friends in Shanghai, so I'm not worry about those days.

I already reserved the long distance trains and I'm planning to book the tours for the busy places (Beijing and Xi'an), in Guilin the hotel will book us the tours (which is basically the transport). I will book Popland this week. Am I missing something?

Day 1 Arrival Beijing + Popland

Day 2 (Saturday) Great wall (Mutianyu) + summer palace (tour or with friend)

Day 3 (Sunday) Forbidden City (booking with guide) and around

Day 4 City

Day 5 City and evening visit to Tianjin

Day 6 Train to Xi'an

Day 7 Terracota Army and Huaqing Palace (tour)

Day 8 Wall around city, maybe a show? are they worth it?

Day 9 (Saturday) Train to Shanghai

Day 10 (Sunday) Shanghai

Day 11 Shanghai

Day 12 Shanghai

Day 13 Shanghai - day trip to Shozou

Day 14 Shanghai - day trip to Hangzhou

Day 15 Train to Guilin

Day 16 (Saturday) Longji Rice fields trip

Day 17 (Sunday) Li-River Cruise: Reed Flute cave + Yulong River Bamboo Rafting+Ruyi Peak + Xingping Ancient tow

MacGyvering my bag

So, I'm in Italy for the week. Last minute we heard about a transport strike happening the day we are returning home. Thinking we might not be able to check in our luggage, I decided to bring less stuff. So I only brought this pink bag, to use with new denim shorts and skirt. As you would imagine, colour transfer started right away, so I found this scarf at Mango or Zara and attached it to the bag to avoid the colour transfer. Does it look weird? Maybe. Am I worrying about colour transfer the whole time? Yes, but less.

I have to add that I crossbody my bags. I prefer my arms and hands free.

What do you think? Shall I add some masking tape? Duct tape?

FYI my Labubu also got colour transfer. She's ok with that.
