Purging rock. Got a good 3/8” deep hole in the ball of my foot from a chunk of chert so I can’t quite get to work like I want and gotta pay some bills lol.

Will be making a new notcher. Mines wore out and I can’t notch like I want with the pressure flaker

Cleaning out the knapping area and have amassed a large amount of flakes and chunks. All kinds of materials from cherts quartzite glass and obsidian

I also have a couple obsidian slabs to let go of for a good price

u/scoop_booty sent out the prize from the July point contest and it made it here yesterday. I’m blown away by the craftsmanship on the point and he even added a bonus masterpiece along with it!
They are some finely flaked sharp pieces that I’m more than happy to throw in my friend keeper case!

The material looks so yummy I almost don’t want to touch it. I haven’t had too much time to do anything but throw a flake or two off the large biface and I’ve got to say it more or less melted off the rock absolute butterrrr. But I’m sure yall will see a point or two from it before long.

(Swipe) Some pieces I’ve made from local chert. Mix of high graded stuff and a few with inclusions/fossils/droozy last one is a seriously low grade piece I managed to pull a good sized one from.
