For sale is my Techonaut 30 in the discontinued 1050D ballistic orange color. It has the northwest sky interior. I've traveled with it a few times and it is in excellent used condition. There might be some very minor marks but no scratches or loose threads. It looks great. This is Tom Bihns toughest fabric. American-made 1050D Ballistic 2x2 Type 6.6 nylon. I've been really wanting a 1050D Techonaut 30 in Black and I've been waiting for years at this point and they haven't made one.
I currently have an orange 1050D Techonaut 30 and it's great I just wish it was black. How does the 630D compare to 1050D?
I am partial to 1050D because I have some really old (25+ years) Tumi luggage and an old Brain Bag made out of it and it just looks good seemingly forever. They told me the fabric is hard to get. I have also heard that it isn't as environmentally friendly (although if the bag lasts 25 years I'm not sure that's true).
I know someone selling a Techonaut 45 in black 1050D...is it way too big of a bag? My 30 is my big bag for domestic trips and I use a 20L Osprey Daylite Tote Pack for overnight type trips.

What is generally preferred?
I have a U50 S with the new quick adjust clasp and an 105 UTC with the old clasp and I might prefer the old one. I just bought a new EZM 3 (with qa clasp) to replace my 105 UTC.
I am tempted to swap the old clasp onto the new watch. Am I crazy? The new clasp is nice but the older one is sleeker and is more similar to the old Rolex clasp I am used to.
