So many unfinished stories

I'm about to stop using Manta. There are too many stories that have not concluded and are waiting for another season. Examples: NPC can save the world (just dissapeared, no explanation) Isnelda (2 years and nothing), Totem's Realm (on hiatus since 2024) and many more I can't remember. In some other cases endings are forced and rushed with many unfinished stories and side characters that dissapear. And the abusive/rapey dubcon storylines. I don't mind reading smut, but few stories display positive enthusiastic consent and it's getting repetitive.

I'm awful at keeping my home clean and organized and my kids have noticed

Well basically what the title says.

Yesterday I was taking with my youngest recalling memories and suddendly he said "yes, back when this house was nice and pretty".

- What do you mean- I replied

-Well... when it was clean...

- And not messy? I asked

-Yes, he replied awkwardly.

We used to have someone who helped with the cleaning once a week or every two weeks. We can't afford it anymore and I suck at keep a nice, clean and tidy house. I've always sucked. Now I'm full of shame and feel like I'm failing my kids.

What works for you? Any advice?

Thanks

ADHD and Weight Loss

Hi!

Just want to share my experience. Three weeks ago I went to a dietitian because I'm overweight. She gave me a super structured plan that relied heavily in my ability to organize and track my meals. She also expected me to exercise everyday. I told her that I have ADHD and I could tell she was annoyed. Then, I discussed it with my therapist and I said that I was going to try but was full of doubt. She replied that maybe that approach was not suitable for me and that I should try a different angle and be kinder to myself.

That really changed things. I was sure I was going to fail and I was ready to blame it on my lack of discipline. Instead, I went to a different dietitian, who is also neurodivergent. She asked the right questions and was far more emphatetic than dietitian number 1.

I'm now ready to start and I have a very positive outlook. Wish me luck.
