Orange - Art by me

Produce this during sketching practices, ended up liking it a lot so I tried to do some coloring and simple shading.

Still long way to go but seeing yourself able to improve even incrementally feels good ngl

More practice drawing | Art by me

Starting to get my groove now. Takes a while but feels great when your hand and arm are beginning to cooperate with you instead of sluggishly moving them.

Oh (nice) Ashoka, how I miss you

Pulling from an recent won game where I already placed all my specialist in all my unique quarter so I don't get to see +17 happiness gain or so for them if placed, but this is close enough. Even better, this is all specialist policy slotted in with the happiness tanking and we still going strong

Also Majapahit unique quarter is awesome for Ashoka, +2 culture +3 happiness per worked marine tile adjacent to that quarter is absolutely nuts

Sharing my learn to draw progress | Art by me

Decided to pick up drawing again last month after neglect for a few years thanks to loss of motivation. Gonna take a few years for me to get to the level I want but pretty happy with this result I whip up in an hour or so

The keep all cities from previous age dedication will not work for Joseon, fyi

I thought I could cheese the system by using that dedication but yeah they definitely know it beforehand. Not complaining, just PSA so people don't reload turn 1 to run different dedication on that slot. And because of this, I do recommend to build Seowon before turning towns into cities later on to reap the benefit of +1 pop in capital.

[Catherine/Heian] I think Heian is mildly broken guys

This is me playing quite sloppily and still somehow win in exploration albeit by intentionally pushing the age forward via future civic. Only do defensive war and wage one major war to KO Red Xerxes from my continent with him only got 1 wonder and 3 unique quarters in his entire empire.

The riding effect from Catherine ability carry Heian so much, able to convert the excess culture into science is godsend, especially when you convert a few tundra towns into city.

And I was just finished celebration. Had I taken this pick while celebration it would go even more insane with the yields.

Best part? I barely run any specialist. Jo-Bo System II (tradition) and Hoo-do Hall puts in all the work. Like I thought we already past the Shell Tempered Pottery nerf from every buildings adjacent to resources to only some and now Jo-Bo System takes the cake for having insane yields for an early tradition

Probably the first time I ever used Translesion+ ever
