did i make a mistake in the counselling???

I have applied for b tech in VIT vellore ECE cat 1 as my first choice and then ece at VIT vellore cat 2 as my second choice and finally ece cat 1 in VIT Chennai as the third choice

i have a 6k vit rank how have i been admitted for ECE cat 1 in VIT Chennai???? i thought i would get the first choice i had kept with a 6k rank cuz it showed last yr cutoff was 10k for VIT vellore cat 1 ece

Give me a reality check.

I've gotten a 6k rank in VIT and 95.1%Ile in JEEM, I honestly want to take a drop year but my parents will never allow it.

I was thinking about a partial drop from some EAMCET clg but now that I have gotten VIT my parents want me to take only Vellore

I still don't wanna give up on the idea of a partial drop, but i've heard VIT is curriculum is tough and there will be many tests regularly.

Is a partial drop even possible in VIT Vellore? please give me the brutal and honest truth, I'm willing to work hard to manage both vit acads and partial drop syllabus

Just started EAMCET prep, wondering how all of you attempt the questions which you don't know, do you just keep any random option or do you stick with one option, like C for every answer
