Go back to school for cybersecurity, or join the military
TL;DR:Should I follow my passion and go do online college for cybersecurity, or do what my parent suggest to join the military?
Hey reddit, im a 26 year old male and i graduated trade school doing hvac. I really didn't want to do it but I chased the money cause my family suggested I should. I went along and of course, I didn't like it. I told them that my heart really isn't into this and I want to do cybersecurity cause I was genuinely into it. Now my folks
Are giving me a ultimatum,I'd either join the military and then after 6 years in, I study cybersecurity, or do hvac and study it while working in that field. My thought is that why would I do something I know I'd be miserable in, and keep pushing back my passion? I dont know what to do and any advice would be appreciated.
