I have severe dry eyes after Accutane which are getting worse (and also developed1 dioptrie out of the blue).
Main problem seems to be evaporative. I‘m using vaseline night cream (Xailin Night) three times a day, because it’s the only thing giving any relief. Without it the eyes are red and burning within an hour. Drops don’t help.

I can’t do heat treatment, my whole eyeballs feel like they are on flame if I try.

I‘m on Ikervis (2x/day) for a year. I also was on Doxycycline 50mg for 6 months, I use Soolantra on the eyelids (in case it’s Rosacea) and different doctors have put me on Cortison/Prednisolone/antiobiotic eyedrops repeatedly.

The glands are clogged and the meibom is milky suggesting inflammation. My left eyelid is thick every morning and goes to normal after an hour.

I have stopped the Doxy some months ago. A few days ago I tried to cut back on Ikervis (to once a day), because it doesn’t help, but now my eyeballs are burning (like they do after heat treatment). How come Ikervis never made anything better, but stopping makes things worse?

Is this just inflammation? Is there something else/more I can do against it? Can it be something else?
(I was tested for Sjögrens but my blood does not show any inflammation.)

Hey, we are currently in Lisbon and still a bit confused about using buses etc.
In Porto we bought the card where you put tickets on it and just tap it to the sensor. I know this exists in Lisbon as well, but I would rather just go with the option to tap my credit card at the scanner and not bother with additional cards. We won’t be using buses that much anyway.

However I still get conflicting information:

1. Can you use your credit card like that for buses as well as the metro? Is there anywhere, where it doesn’t work?
2. When I change lines with the bus do I need to tap again? Or would that sell me two tickets, when it’s not necessary?

I'm user, I have no idea of the inner workings of typo3. I manage some websites and their translations in our office. Mostly I use connected mode for translations. However after some time the order the objects get shown in typo3 in the translation is totally messed up. It gets shown all right on the actual webpage, but working in typo3 turns into a nightmare. It takes forever to find where to make changes in the translation. Why doesn't it just match the order of the original language? Is this actually supposed to be this way? How can I correct that? We are thinking of switching to "free mode" just to be able to move the stuff around in to the correct order.

After weeks of back and forth with my health care provider, I finally got plugs inserted in my lower tear ducts. After driving 2,5 hours to the doctor, they casually commented "Oh, these are probably too small, no idea if these will work."

Since I had to bring the plugs, they didn't exactly have any other sizes, so they put them in. It's 0,4mm.

The one in my right eye didn't even survive the drive home. It was visibly poking out, when I came home. I pressed it back in, but it was gone the next morning. The left one has stuck with me for a few days now and is not making any problems.

Even though I can compare both eyes directly, I don't feel any difference. Is that because it's too small? Should I at least feel a small effect? Is it worth going through all that again, to get bigger ones put in or is this a sign that plugs just won't work for me?
