Can I please know which club will be safe one for a solo female first timer.

how is the drive from reykjavik to vik in late July August.Will it be ok for a driver who is used to drive in laned highways.Will it be ok for a beginner level driver.Plan is to drive to vik ,stay there for few days and then back
