Does this look like a deal to you? I'd have to drive about an hour and disassemble the rack.
Some of these pictures go back 2003. I, and a few other people who closely follow this sub, have been in the hobby for thirty, forty, or fifty years. Once someone has been in a hobby for that long with their eyes open, it's easy to predict trends. What I can never predict in this hobby is when something new or amazing is going to come out of the ground or come out of an attic.
A few of these are headed for auction. If you like these things and want some really unusual shapes and colors, keep an eye open for eagle cap collectibles auction. Among the 3 main insulator hobby auction houses, Eagle Cap, the only western USA insulator-centric auction house, generally has the most affordable catalog.
By all accounts, a successful third year event. These shots were taken during Friday, collector setup. On Saturday, the actual show time, the event was packed for a good three hours. Brian scored this mint condition, amber HGCo smooth base signal from Colin. We included the blue one for color contrast. Heather and Matt had come cool, round display surfaces. Glenn, one of our show hosts, was showing off some "free stuff". Everyone had fun, great food, and the show was very well attended.
Anyone else missing this mail piece?
On 6/2 I had a notice and a photo of the mail piece in my Informed Delivery of the Hexclad Class Action settlement check envelope. It wasn't delivered on 6/2 and it wasn't delivered on 6/3. Odd that the other two mail pieces pictured in the 6/2 notification were delivered on 6/2. I have filed a complaint with the Postal Service.
These are industrial glass items specially made to withstand high temperature.
All recently rescued. One private courier shipment received, another on the way.
We recently had one of our annual get-togethers in Fresno, California. Everyone who had a green CD 123 EC&M Co. SF (ca. 1875) brought their insulator to put into the case for this photo opportunity. It was amazing to see all of these different shades of green and tall ones and short ones together in one place at the same time.
