I need some advice regarding my college decision.

I currently have an offer for Core CSE at SRM Vadapalani, but the seat confirmation deadline is 6th July.

At the same time, I have a COMEDK rank of 23k and am open to CSE specializations like AI/ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc. From what I've been hearing, some COMEDK colleges in Bangalore may be better options than SRM Vadapalani.

My main concern is that if I don't confirm the SRM seat by 6th July, I'll lose my backup college. On the other hand, if I take the SRM seat and later get a better option through COMEDK, I may not end up joining SRM anyway.

For people who have gone through COMEDK counselling or know the cutoff trends:

What colleges and branches can I realistically expect at 23k?

Is there a decent chance of getting a college that's clearly better than SRM Vadapalani CSE?

Would you risk letting go of the SRM seat in my position, or would you secure the SRM seat as a backup and continue with COMEDK counselling?
