Shopping trolleys

My baby is 8.5 months - when did you guys stop putting babies into the shopping trolley instead of wearing them or putting them in the pram? I need more space than the basket 🤣

Also, I'm over buying things. Someone recommended using the laundry basket instead of buying a seat for when you're cooking, etc. And it has been life-changing. I don't want to buy something to strap her in. What is everyone doing to make sure the bub doesn't fall out?

At my wit's end - week of overnight wakes

My 7.5 month baby has been waking up every night and crying for 30 mins to 1.5 hours. She's sleep trained since 5.5 months.

We usually does 2/2.5/2.5/3 total nap time 3h but I tried capping at 2.5h and 2 naps 2.5/3.5/4 but it didn't change anything. She was up for almost 2 hours that night if 3 naps and I got spooked changed back to 3 naps but now it's been four nights of overnight wakes.

What do I do? I'm so exhausted.

7.5 month - nap transitions

My baby was doing 2/2.5/2.5/3 total naptime 3h but started crying for 20 mins when we put her in the cot at night.

I tried 2.5h and 2h total nap time and longer ww but still the same.

I tried 2.5/3.5/4 and she was fine with the ww and fell asleep straight away but cried for an hour at 2am and woke up every hour briefly to cry and fell asleep.

What do I do from here?

Dropping 3 to 2 naps - ww same or more?

My 7m is doing 2/2.5/2.5/3 total daytime sleep is 3h with the last being 30 min nap and 11h overnight.

She's been having false starts, crying more before bed etc. I'm feeling it's time to drop a nap.

Would we start 2.5/3/3.5 and increase to 2.5/3.5/4 or cold turkey to new schedule? Do we increase daytime awake hours from 10 hours to more or keep it as it is? Do we cap naps?

Edit: should I cap naps to 2.5h first? Help!!

Playpen vs sitting device

This may not even be a problem in a week's time but my 6 month and 3 week baby loves to roll and can roll from one side of our huge zenli mat to the other side. I need somewhere to put her when I'm quickly making a coffee or putting bottles away.

Would you recommend a playpen or a sitting thing like the fisher price one or ingenuity 3 in 1? Baby Bjorn won't be able to be used soon as she's getting better at sitting.

We are childproofing the house so once she starts crawling she can have free reign but for now if she rolls off the zenli she cries as she throws her little head back when rolling on to her back. I know floor time is gold standard and containers should be limited but I also need to use the toilet and heat up her food etc.and be able to look away for two minutes.

What are we using?

Gymbaroo vs baby sensory?

My baby's 6 months old and we've done one term of baby sensory. The first few weeks were fun for her but wasn't too impressed in the last two weeks. How does gymbaroo compare? Online it looks like the babies are doing more but keen to hear from parents who've done both.

5m baby frequent night wakings

My baby's sleep was getting better and stretched to 7h, a feed then 3h. Or 5h and gel feeds. Recently she's been waking hourly crying. Sometimes she resettles by herself others not so much.

She's 5m and total daily nap time is 2-3h 1.75/2/2.5/2/2

Is it time to drop a nap? Sometimes her ww are still 1.5h between first couple of naps

She wakes up 8-9am and sleeps 9-10pm
