Traffic was absolutely crawling this morning on 94. Basically stop and go from the interchange until at least the stadium. I got on at Locust around 7:18 and exited on miller parkway at 7:54.

Turns a decent day into a stressful one real quick. Also how much productivity / time has been sacrificed since this newest project started? 68th / 70th street exit has been shut down since early spring. I haven’t seen anything done to either ramp in that time, 68th had a small area under the interstate re-paved but nothing else that I’m aware of. At least we got that sweet state budget surplus! Also wouldn’t feel like this was a good therapy session unless I acknowledged our somehow perfect mix of reckless, audacious, gross drivers and those who cannot zipper merge. I’ve traveled quite a bit for work and personally and will defend Milwaukee generally to a fault, but the road quality and drivers honestly feel embarrassingly at another level that most mid / large metros.
