Opal filled pendant

I never posted this but figured I should, I filled a pendant with opal pieces/chips and originally intended on putting liquid in it but the type I used can't be in liquid so it's just dry chips in it instead.

Luckily it's just as flashy either way. I'm not sure how I never ended up posting it here after I finished it but came across the video again.

Real or fake?

I have reason to believe this is fake, initially I thought it was genuine. I came across some information online that led me to reconsider if it was genuine or not (not sure if I'm supposed to mention what that is or not but it will probably be obvious visually in the first two pictures of it).

I have compared the portion I am suspicious of with other bottles from the fantasy line that I own and only this one looks off and isn't matching up

Also it was purchased online for around the price it would be purchased in stores 17-28 dollars.

I only got this like two years ago and noticed that it looked as if the gasket plug was moving out of place on one side but upon opening it up the gasket hasn't moved at all, what I did find however is on the side it looks like it's rising up on the gasket is yellowing and hard. I'm not understanding how this happened within a few years and I'm even more concerned because I'm not sure how I'm supposed to replace this when inevitably fully degrades (I assume it's some kind of dry rot not sure how or why it happened but it makes sense)

As this is a rotating globe if it's going to be replaced it has to be the type of gasket that rotates but I can't find those anywhere
