Brutalism

I’d be curious to know if there are more people here who find Brutalism appealing than there are out in the real world.

I always get a blank stare whenever I talk about this style of architecture. Everyone thinks it’s ugly. As for me, I love the massive walls and the feeling you get inside old Brutalist buildings.

What about you guys?

(As always, I’m using DeepL to translate, so sorry for any awkward phrasing)

Joy and Disappointment

Hi everyone, I only found out a few days ago that I’m an INTJ. Realizing this was a huge relief for me—so much makes sense now that I used to feel like something was wrong with me.

I’ve noticed that I’m better at dealing with extreme disappointment than with overwhelming positive emotions.

Do you feel the same way? Is that typical?

P.S.: I’m so glad I found this sub!

If one of my posts was removed by a mod, can visitors to my profile still see it?

I’d like to keep my posts visible on my profile in the future, but I’d be a little embarrassed about the one that was deleted.

For the past few days, I’ve been doing an intensive and brutally honest personality analysis with AI, and it named Tim Bergling as my soulmate without me ever mentioning his name or any connection to his music. Simply because of similar personality structures and numerous parallels.

That was overwhelming. No wonder his music has this effect on me. It’s as if it reveals a part of my own soul. I can also now understand why his fate touches me so deeply.

(I know you have to be very careful about how far you let AI look into your soul. That can be playing with fire.)

Please don't be too hard on me. I feel the need to share this with someone, but it takes a lot of courage for me to open up here.
