In year 3 vol 4 hirata was there when ryuen used hiyori to force koji to save her and “lose” the exam, so now that it looks like his old dark persona is returning he will most likely tell horikita abt this (or maybe the whole class). We know that ichinose is most likely going to target hiyori for expulsion and some ppl even say hashimoto will help ichinose altho I personally doubt it, now do u think horikita will also target hiyori? If she believes that hiyori is koji’s weakness there is no doubt that she might try to corner him using her but what I mean by is that do u think horikita would push for hiyori’s expulsion similarly to ichinose?

I honestly doubt it cos i just don’t see horikita targeting ppl for expulsion especially not someone like hiyori, despite what a lot of her fans want.

Plus idk if horikita will even believe that hiyori is koji’s weakness since should realise by now that he is willing to cut ppl off if it benefits him (honestly
I will be disappointed if ryuen fully believes that hiyori is koji’s Achilles heel)

I’m really curious on how u think the whole hiyori plotline will play out next volume and what role horikita and class A will play in it

I don’t remember where it was stated but I remember that koji fully believes that horikita hates him after he left her class. But is there any actual reason behind this belief or is it just based on the assumption that horikita will respond to his departure similarly to the rest of the class, with hatred towards him?

And also do u think the interaction at the end of vol 4 will finally open his eyes and make him reconsider his assumption?

Maybe through them meeting again back at school bcs he did tell her that he would explain the details behind his loss on the island.

Idm if the romance isn’t rushed especially with the hiyori arc happening rn but atleast I want the reconciliation to start

What do u think will happen in year 3 vol 4 regarding horikita’s “investigation” into koji’s past? I believe she will find out something at the very least since the ship is the perfect setting for her to contact nanase or amasawa and I feel like it’s abt time she starts uncovering some information.

I remember that at the end of year 3 vol 4 kinu said that the next volume cover might contain someone unexpected and that he was just warning us ahead of time not to be too surprised. From what I vaguely remember his choice of words didn’t indicate a totally unknown or unheard of student but one that has a role in the story albeit limited or small, plus he also mentioned that next volume would include the other years and the ship is the perfect place as they are gathered in close proximity.

For that reason I think the volume cover will have tsubaki sakurako on it. This allows us to uncover more about her goals and her connection to yuki (it’s about time) plus it aligns with horikita slowly unraveling the truth behind the WR.

This also could lead to koji and tsubaki interacting more during the summer break in the volume after it which is 5.5 most likely, as by then koji would realize the yuki is sakurako’s sister. (It’s almost certain that yuki is tsubaki’s sister)

I honestly want to see an exam where koji’s class and horikita’s class are forced to team up. Just seeing them work together as leaders of opposite sides would be really interesting. Plus I want to see how horikita and the rest of her class react to koji’s leadership as most of them wouldn’t have thought of him as the leader type. Idk if this can happen as it is the final year and horikita is atp Class A so kinu isn’t going to team her up with koji. Idk but hopefully it can happen.

Shouldn’t horikita have a meeting with all her classmates and tell them abt koji’s true abilities. I understand the problems that might cause like ppl doubting her abilities and it causing fear abt whether they could graduate in class A but still the positives outweigh the negatives. Look at year 3 vol 4 shinohara and Ike did not fully understand how dangerous Koji is and it ended with one of them getting expelled and the other broken. No one in the class knows how terrifying koji is except for horikita and kei (I don’t count koenji bcs he wouldn’t attend the class meeting). Maybe now horikita should gather her class and tell them abt koji’s contributions and how he is him and a straight up demon. Idk do u think she will reveal it?

Koji’s class: a lot of ppl say hashimoto but I honestly don’t see koji ever allowing hashimoto to be expelled he is too important.
- I can see shiriashi getting expelled besides that no one in particular.

Ryuen’s class: I fell like ibuki is safe following the events of vol 4.

I can see the following getting expelled:
- Hiyori (high chance)
-Albert or Ichizaki based on the OAA quotes
-maybe nishino ig bcs she isn’t a major character but would still fit Albert and ichizaki’s OAA quote

Ichinose’s class: I could see kinu making it so ichinose “victory” by the end is that none of her classmates got expelled since it’s one of her goals, plus there is no way she gets class A.
I can see some ppl get expelled:
-Amikura since it would effect ichinose a lot
-himeno (idk ig she is a major character)
-shibata (same as himeno)
-ichinose tho i doubt it

Horikita’s class: left for the end since literally everyone besides Horikita and koenji has a red flag. We know they will have big expulsions due to the OAA quotes where basically everyone besides Horikita and Sudo sound traumatised.
Characters I believe have major red flags:
-hirata (would literally break the class)
-sudo (would be a major hit for horikita altho I doubt it will be him since it might destroy any chance of reconciliation between hori and koji)
-every member of the former ayanokoji group 😭 (I mean have u seen hasebe and akito’s OAA quotes)
-sato (again based off the OAA quotes)
-mii chan: expelled by koji to spite koenji
-ike is definitely cooked (it’s wraps for him next volume✌️)
-matsushita is a maybe for me idk really know since she is likely to be the traitor so her expulsion wouldn’t shake the class as much
-idk if this is a hot take but i don’t see kishida getting expelled in anyway like she survived yr 2 vol 5 and yr 3 vol 4 so her getting expelled makes everything she and horikita have done useless (and i hope kinu knows that he shouldn’t be giving the fandom more reasons to hate horikita)

We know from the future monologue that she will find out. imo she will lowkey be traumatised and shocked once she finds out bcs I mean who wouldn’t especially considering she is a high schooler. She will definitely realise that it makes sense considering what she has seen about koji like his lack of social skills and pop culture knowledge as well as his exceptional skills.

Altho this depends on who she finds out the truth from, I believe at first she might feel horrible considering that she was “forcing” koji to help her (altho he didn’t really mind) and was questioning why he didn’t want to stand out. Koji will notice something wrong with her and probably confront or talk to her about it.

We know horikita will find out about koji’s past from her monologue in y3, I think she finds out during anhs and around the latter half of the 3rd year. I believe she will learn breadcrumbs about him from ishigami, nanase or amasawa (I can see her learning from sakayanagi if she is able to meet her during the university visits for the 3rd years) but i think it’s almost certain that koji himself will tell her the full truth. In the monologue horikita implies that koji has a bad fate that awaits him but imo she is referring to her finding out that koji has to rejoin the WR after anhs so the “bad” fate is yet to occur and so the monologue takes places at anhs right after her finding out the truth.

I think the truth about his past will play a major role in both of them getting together which despite recent volumes I think is inevitable and likely to happen. I mean both of them ate stupid af regarding romance, their relationship has been developing from the very beginning, it’s obvious that kinu is pushing for the kiyozune ending and that hiyori is merely a red herring or smoke screen. (I mean I find it unlikely that the final girl is determined or locked in while we have at least 10 volumes left at anhs) So hiyori is the last “experiment” before horikita which imo will be the end girl.

I didn’t mention the most of the ways kinu is pushing for as the horikita final girl since they’ve been mentioned hundreds of times.

While I strayed off from my question I believe the two topics are connected and I didn’t want to make two posts.

I don’t remember but are the teams in the sports festival decided by class rank so class A and D vs B and C or is it random? Bcs if the class rankings don’t change until class the festival we could get ayanokoji and horikita teaming up which would be nice. altho ryuen and koji team up would be amazing.

Who do u think he is talking to? imo it’s either koji, morishita 🐐or maybe kito.
I think he is one of the most interesting characters in the series and honestly doubt he is getting expelled since he is important to koji in controlling the class as his self appointed right hand man. Plus his dynamic with morishita is one of the peaks of year 3.

What do u think the key nanase mentioned to amasawa is? (Personally I think it’s Horikita) And do u think horikita will confront nanase next volume abt koji?

Now that we know the next volume will be vol. 5 (not 4.5) what do u think will happen next? I just can’t wait until October.
