So got a Sony Walkman A55 and have been trying to get my AirPods Pro 1st Gen to work but there's no sound. I have tried resetting settings, trying different audio playback settings (although it keeps directing back to SBC) and testing them on my iPhone.

They work on my iPhone no problem and I could hear a sound when the music was selected but there was no sound after that.

I'm aware that 2nd gen have issues but I could see that the 1st gen seemed to work well but I can't tell what is going wrong and why there is no sound.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I bought to use with AirPods as I struggle with IEMs (I have sensory issues so cannot have anything round my neck or touching my neck).

I'm looking for a Japanese proxy who can purchase from Kakimori and ship to the UK.

For some reason they seem to cancel your order if you try and order through a website proxy. But I think an individual purchase should be okay, fingers crossed..
