TMU psych anti/prerequisites

hi! i am an upcoming undergrad student at tmu and my plan is to go for tmu’s nursing advanced entry program. however one of my prerequisites would be psy102, which i am unable to take during my first year, although i am able to take psy 105 which is an anti requisite to 102. i was wondering if that would work or not? i’m not really educated on much im sorry!!!

future 🤓☝️

hi ive just been thinking a lot about my future and getting older since my mom has recently started talking a lot about marriage and i was looking for maybe other people with muslims parents help? or something.

so i don’t really believe anymore however my parents are really strict muslim parents!!!! and my mom keeps talking about how she’s excited for me to grow up and marry a muslim man and im not interested in that at all. i don’t want to spend my life wearing the hijab. i used to wear it and i was suicidal every single day until my parents permitted me not to wear it unless im going out with them. i also don’t want to have a split wedding and spend my life unhappy. i genuinely don’t know what to do.

they won’t let me get a well career because obviously i should spend most of my time with our children and taking care of the house too. i just cannot stop crying because i don’t want to grow up and be miserable!

they also want me to start wearing the hijab again for university and i genuinely can’t , i had the worst years in highschool just because i had to wear it and i genuinely cannot go through that again

and my friend told me that it’s my prom and it’s supposed to be one of the best nights of my life. and i know there’s people who regret this for a long time. i was wondering if you think guys it’s not that big of a deal and i’ll forget about it or no. or any words of reassurance bc im like so upset it’s weird

switching majors first year

hi i’m a high-school student who might be accepting my offer for a BA in psychology at TMU, but i was wondering if i would be able to switch my major to biomedical science instead (still attending TMU)!

i was wondering if anybody knew what the process would be like; would i be able to switch immediately first year in the fall? or might i have to go through first year and then switch, and if so, does taking the biomed first year courses as electives help with the process? or would that not work.

any information helps! thank you!
