US (non resident alien) moving to the Netherlands

I'm an EU citizen currently working in the US with Fidelity as the brokerage for my employers 401k, Roth, and personal investment accounts. I'm planning on relocating to the Netherlands permanently and was wondering if I could continue to manage my accounts from abroad. The last thing I'd want is to be restricted, or locked out as a result of relocation.

Are there any steps to be followed to prepare my fidelity accounts before I relocate so that I can continue to access them?

US to Netherlands

Does anyone know if it's confirmed that all global wealth and investments will be taxed at 36% every year starting in 2028? I'm deciding whether it makes sense to move from the US to take on a job offer in the Netherlands. I'm not a US permanent resident or citizen, but I do have savings and investments in the US that will now be exposed to taxes in NL if I choose to make the move.

US (non-resident alien) moving to Netherlands tax implications.

For context - I'm an EU citizen currently in the US on a work visa and therefore not a green card holder/citizen, and I have a job offer from a company in the Netherlands and considering relocating there permanently.

I'm not clear on what the tax implications would be for assets that I own here in the US including any savings in my bank accounts, my retirement accounts (401k, Roth IRA), and my portfolio accounts.

Everything I've come across online relates specifically to US citizens working in the Netherlands and for their savings and investments in the Netherlands.

Can anyone here advise on what the likely scenario would be for me? I'm sure I'll regret it if I relocated and had to pay significant taxes on unrealized gains in the Netherlands on my US portfolio.
