How to tell if a road in Germany is two-way or two lanes one-way?

Germany uses only white paint for lane markings. In the upper two photos, both the road for one-lane for each direction, and the divided highway with two lanes going in the same direction, the lane markings look the same.

On US roads, white lane markings are used, and yellow is used to signify the left edge of the direction of travel. That is, if the yellow painted line is to your left, you are driving in the right direction. In the bottom two photos of US roads, there is a yellow painted line in the middle of the road, showing that the left lane is for oncoming traffic, and for a divided highway a yellow painted line on far left tells the driver that all lanes travel in the same direction.

So, is there something that indicates if the road has oncoming traffic or is divided?

This comes from my experience a few years ago driving in Germany on unfamiliar roads, at night and in the rain. I turned onto a road, and I wasn’t sure if the left lane was for oncoming traffic or not.

EDIT: Thanks for all the replies. It is as I assumed, about context. The linked photo below shows the entrance onto the B257 that I took one rainy night that made me wonder if this was a divided highway or not. I drove as recommended in the comments: I stayed right until I was sure.

Scrolling

When scrolling the All Movements screen, often it suddenly pops back up to the top. I've tried slower finger slides, shorter range, etc. But after about 100 training sessions, it is still frustrating how often the screen snaps back to the top.

Any tips?

Which Interstate Lane When There is Light Traffic?

Driving on an Interstate that is almost empty. 3 lanes. Which lane do you choose?

More specifically, today (and previously), 11:30 AM, sunny day, empty limited access highway, all lanes smooth with no ruts or potholes. There is one car by itself in the left lane, maybe every mile along the interstate. No one in the middle lane.

To those that chose the left lane: Why did you choose the left? I will acknowledge that in this scenario, you are not slowing up anyone, there is nothing unsafe, and since the road had light traffic, you weren't bothering anybody. But you had 3 lanes to pick from. Why the left? I'm just curious.

Brake Pad Recommendations for Track Days

What are your recommended brake pads for track days for high speed braking and to prevent the shudder effect?

This is the 3rd season that I've tracked my C8 Z51. Currently using Ferodo DS3.12 pads. Great bite and stopping force, long lasting, and have almost no squeal when street driving. Only issue is that with fresh Cup 2 tires, there is a vibration, or shudder, while braking. It doesn't get better or worse during the weekend HPDE. Rotors are new and still very smooth in the front, with no cracks at all. (Stock rotors)

Started with Brembo pads and PS4s tires - good braking, short pad life. Hawk DTC60s were next, didn't have the aggressive bite. Went to Cup 2s and DTC70s up front, much better bite, but short life and some shudder. Now on the Ferodo DS3.12 and new Cup 2s.
