Sponsorship

For residents who apply with the iqama, if their sponsorship ends later but they’re still enrolled and studying, would KFUPM issue a student study visa for them or that’s only for internationals?

Sooo.. 🇰🇷 or 🇸🇦?

Advice needed from those studying at either one of these countries, how has your experience personally been? For an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, UNIST in Ulsan or KFUPM in Dhahran? They both sound legit, however, from my research, KFUPM although mainly recognized in the Middle East, has a more structured approach and immense student support by the faculty/administration etc. alongside great opportunities for research. UNIST on the other hand has a more flexible and interdisciplinary curriculum but it’s definitely riskier in terms of getting the opportunity to help with research as it focuses more on advanced topics, stronger journals, etc. I also want to know how real homesickness can get to you as that’s my biggest fear with unist. For graduate school, would research papers published in kfupm’s journal stand out more than risking minimal research at unist in case I can’t prove myself enough? I got accepted into both btw just stuck.

A moderately-reputable public research university in South Korea (not the SKY universities though) or the most-reputable university in the Middle East (kfupm)? For Undergrad. Engineering (advice needed from those currently enrolled at kfupm- particularly for internships and experience for internationals)

So I’ve got three universities shortlisted for chemical engineering and I’m stuck between which one to pick! Can someone give advice on which curriculum would be better given I intend to pursue a master’s after my bachelor’s degree and in the long run wish to pursue a career in R&D. I’d really appreciate if someone could get the time out to roughly go through the main courses and give any advice! Just by looking at the curriculum, I find UNIST’s the most comprehensive and practical with the most opportunities.. but just wanted some opinions!
