Is chest pressure normal in gastritis?

I live in Shenzhen and I’m super careful with my diet, mostly eating home-cooked food because the humidity here already messes with my stomach. About a month ago I ate a small dinner outside and suddenly got insane stomach pain, chest pressure, and nonstop vomiting the whole night even after taking omeprazole. I genuinely felt like I was having a heart attack because the chest pressure and pain were so intense.

The next day the vomiting slowed down but the pain was still horrible. Ultrasound showed a lot of gas + intestinal inflammation and my CRP was around 25. The language barrier at the hospital made everything way harder, but a local clinic gave me 4 days of infusions and I eventually got better.

Now after a month I had oat milk coffee and the same nightmare started again. This time I vomited less, but it was extremely thick white milky vomit and my stomach started hurting badly again. I also get this horrible pressure in my chest every time it happens and it always feels like I’m having a heart attack. Right now I’m surviving on yogurt and boiled rice.

Anyone experienced something like this before? Especially living in humid Asian climates? How did you recover and start eating normally again?

Got my hair colored in China last year (they also did keratin), and it absolutely wrecked my hair. It’s been like 9 months since that, then I got another color 6 months ago hoping it would somehow fix things… but honestly there’s been zero improvement.

Now my hair is just constantly frizzy, dry, and looks super damaged no matter what I do. I’ve tried everything at this point — Fino mask, Yungo treatments, Head & Shoulders, random “oil control” shampoos, a bunch of international products, different oils, DIY masks… nothing really makes a difference.

It just always looks rough and unhealthy and I’m honestly so tired of it. Has anyone dealt with this kind of damage from coloring/keratin gone wrong? What actually helped you fix it (if anything did)?

Just rewatched Crash Landing on You and I loved it all over again.

One thing I really appreciate is how mature the couple feels. They’re not written like teenagers with unrealistic expectations — they’re both grown, professional people dealing with something unexpected but very real.

It just makes their story hit differently. Also, the main leads were such a perfect choice for these roles.
